Really overrated and service is abysmal. Went for lunch, the staff were not very attentive. Went specifically for the pink burger and vaccine cocktail but the pink burger wasn't pink, and we were only told that they didn't have the pink buns after they brought the food out. The vaccine cocktail didn't have the syringe that I've seen in photos. We got some good photos but the props/furniture weren't disinfected between use, and there wasn't anything to do it ourselves. Just felt bit gimmiky to have the photos just in a separate room but I suppose its better that way for the pandemic

This one star is literally just for the photo facilities. If I could go back, I would only go here for a drink then pictures. The food came two hours late after they had problems with our order. Then they didn't even say sorry. The food came cold. I can't properly explain how poor the service was. Also, I understand they want to have a bar vibe.. but the music was wayyy too loud. Felt like one of those youtube videos 'visiting the worst rated restaurant.' They even had the nerve to leave on the service charge.

Good for photos (even though decor is a bit botched/quick DIY) but food took over an hour to come out (it wasn’t busy) and they didn’t give us one of our sides but charged us for it. A big issue for me was the music was so loud, like club loud! I’m not being a granny, but I like to hear who I’m talking to when I’m at a restaurant. Staff were lovely nonetheless.

Amazing staff and amazing experience. Outdoor area is perfect even in bad weather. Best place to go outdoors with music atm

We waited nearly an hour for our food to arrive, only for this to be cold. My friend had even informed one of the staff and her new food was returned cold yet again!The atmosphere is really pretty and the girls working there are lovely. But cold food and nearly an hour wait, really ruined my friends and I experience here.

I was appalled with my experience. I was welcomed by a waitress professionally. When I got served by this specific person I was outraged! Short women, blonde hair and fairly young. No profession showed. She was on her phone going through social media whilst at her job serving customers? Attitude shown was not pleasant and also felt every uncomfortable with the rudeness and the tone she spoke in.The food was great but the service needs to be a lot more better. I felt intimidated that young girls with severe attitude could act such a way. Many staff were welcoming and polite but the one I had was the opposite. Most likely I’m never going to visit or suggest it to a friend again.

Dined here on 18th Aug using the gov help out to eat out scheme. We received a 5* welcome and service from the host and waitress. Well all ordered a Trap Box with an extra side, which we didn't really need as the Trap Boxes are huge and so filling i had to take a doggy bag home. I had the ribs and prawns and Mmmmmmm it was delicious, i tried my friends Salmon and it was really tasty too. The wings were okay. Didn't try and cocktails as thought they were expensive for £12. I think they could introduce a happy hour. The decor inside is a whole lot of pink and quite informal. I did find the seating to be quite uncomfortable. Think the benches need to be upgraded. We came in the afternoon and the atmosphere was chilled with urban music playing. I would imagine it could be quite lively in the evening. Overall I would return as the majority of the food was delicious. Oh and I forgot to mention the waffles are AMAZING!!!

Food was absolutely amazing, salmon was succulent, prawns were juicy & sides were amazing. My friend had the wings & ribs and she said the same thing (also the ribs are massive & Finally a restaurant’s that serves food with flavour) We arrived 40 minutes late due to a travel delay & they still held our booking for us. Atmosphere was very welcoming & staff are very polite. It’s very refreshing & rewarding to go somewhere where there are no surprises, what you see is what you get. There was an on site DJ who played a variety of music, (this mixed with cocktails made me feel like I was back on holiday, also cocktails were strong) would definitely be my weekend spot if I lived a little closer. I would say it’s a young crowd (20-28), if you like dressing up, looking cute, going out to eat, taking pictures, this is the spot. Can’t wait to visit again. Due to covid mask have to be worn when not seated, if you forget yours don’t worry as they have some on site.

We had issues with the service time and a bit of confusion with the bill. But the food was on point, a little pricey but the amount of food made up for that. The music was great and the staff were friendly.

Visited 202 kitchen a week or so ago. I had heard numerous people tell me about terrible experiences. However I like to form my own opinions. Personally, the venue isn't for me, but I understand the concept. If you care more about taking a ridiculous amount of pictures for your Insta than the quality of food/dining experience, this is the place for you. The food was ok, it came out warm but not hot (menu is online). We were served by numerous waitresses, so there's no consistency. I asked the waitress for Chardonnay and she asked me if it was white wine (not her fault, the establishment should train their staff on the food & drinks menu). The '202 Cinema' was mirroring somebodies device, it went from music videos to a mixtape. I wouldn't choose to attend 202 kitchen again.
