This place has been open for decades and, after trying for the first time a couple of weeks ago, have no idea why. A certificate is proudly displayed on the wall - the chef won a curry competition in Cambridge 20 years ago and the food feels like it's from that era too. We ordered a number of curries (butter chicken, lamb karahi, pudina chicken, veg) all of which were bad. Definitely avoid if you're looking for traditional desi curries. Very much aimed at the English afterpub market.

Nice and quiet dining experience with great and helpful staff. Always have a smile and ready to help with any request. Food tastes amazing and is fresh. My usual spot to have a nice meal at the end of the day.

This would normally be a 5 star rating ... my mother in law has been commong to this place for over 30 years (previous establishment included) and I 11 years.(We even moved to Wolverhampton and still go to this restaurant)..we attended on the 12th June for a birthday meal I dont know if there has been a new chef or just a bad day but this was our first bad meal...the shish kebabs and the chicken pakora were far too spicy and I couldn't finish mine, Mils curry had peppers in it where it normally doesn't, nothing was said about the addition so she never ate it, the chicken tikka main was also to spicy. Despite these issues we still had to pay full price - not that I expected a discount but the offer of woukd have been nice as so much food went to waste.

Good old fashioned food, very filling. Good taste and excellent service. Had the Lamb tikka biryani and prawn tikka biryani and for the children chicken tikka and fries. Was able to bring my own soft drinks which was good!

Tasty food and exceptional service.Not dined in but ordered delivery many times.Ordered direct with restaurant over the phone (as oppossed to Just Eat) and they cooked something off the menu for me - chicken tandoori off the bone, cooked with lamb mince in bhuna style sauce 👌 Delicious!

Great food, staff are friendly and welcoming. Every meal I've had here has been excellent. There are plenty of regulars and it's easy to understand why.
