Good place for sweet and other stuff like samosa kachoris. Special is Halwa

I've read all the negative comments. There is a pattern. Predominantly from jealous artifical Indians trying to damage the business and similarly from Pakistani. Ambala has not changed from 1965 largely. A Customer knows what they are getting. Customer service is a 2 way street, the customers at Indian sweet shops are normally the idiots. If Ambala centrally manufacture the sweets to maintain QC 2x a week, 99% of the negative comments are not warranted and false.

The sweets are good, but they cost a lot and the staff aren't friendly.

·

They sell fresh sweets and good taste loved it.

Poor service from staff member today. Had an severe attitude even though we spent a lot. He just threw the sweets in, didn't care that they were gifts. Needs happier staff. Won't be using again at least the small sweet shops have more respect

They don’t answer the phone, was going to place a big order for sweet boxes but have given up as been trying for days. They clearly don’t need the business - their loss. The London branches are much more on the ball.

Food has always been of good quality, however service was not the best. The person serving charged me for some food that he forgot to put in the bag! I also noticed an unfriendly vibe about the place.

The mishti here was great! But also the savoury snacks are so nice too. We got the kebab wrap and the chicken one too and we were pleasantly surprised. We would get them again! And of course the mishti is sweet and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful with their recommendations as I don’t know a lot about mishti and needed help to know what my mum wanted!

Requires improvementNegative:- The quality, taste has gone downhill. This center used to be good, not anymore.- Customer service doesn't exist.- The place did not look very clean.Positive:- Used to be a regular customer of Ambala Ilford. The food has always been of good quality and with good hygiene. I hope the centre mainted the same standard.- contactless payment accepted.

Great location, parking can be an issue at times, but food and mitai is always fresh and is well worth the trouble and the effort!
