Bank Birmingham in Birmingham

This was my second visit to the Bank, and it was excellent. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and nice views over the canal. Service was faultless as was the food and wine. I will not leave it so long in the future.

We went for an early evening meal. Food was excellent, service friendly and fast. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the price. It's not unreasonable, but at the upper end of things. Also, while it was a cold day, the heaters were too hot! I'd go back, but only after we've saved a bit up!

Unfortunately, I had an extremely uncomfortable visit to bank. We had a table of 15 people and one member couldn’t make it, I told the staff as I came in and they said I still had to pay for her - which was fine and as expected. However, her food was still cooked and brought out, which I wasn’t expecting and as the first course came out I said to the waiter “I’m sorry, she’s not coming” as I thought it would save them cooking the food. He rolled his eyes at me and ignored me. He then went behind me and rolled his eyes again and said in an aggressive manner “atleast let me put the plate on the table first”. I honestly was too stunned to speak. He then started to bring the food out and make snide comments such as “these messages don’t get passed down to servers” so I replied “well there’s no need to be rude, I was just trying to be helpful” .. to which I got another lovely eye roll. I made our host aware to which she replied “that’s just what he’s like sometimes” which to be honest - when your bill is over £700 isn’t quite good enough. We had no apology from the server nor any amenity to make up for his poor behaviour. In which case I decided to remove the service charge. I have never been to your restaurant before and i was really looking forward ti the visit which was ruined in the first 20 minutes of me being there due to this member of staff. Safe to say I won’t be returning nor putting my money into this company again. I would give them a 0 but that’s not possible, so I give them a 1

Lovely bar experience, even if a little bit slow. Heated outside seating, we were warm mid-winter.

Came here on Sunday afternoon 4.00 table booked for 11 people for my Dad's birthday. Lovely table, lovely views but that's as far as the good things go. We waited 30 mins for soneone to take drinks order and a further 30 minutes for someone to take our food order. Food came out cold and was no satisfactory. We left very disappointed and will not be looking to revisit. Shame

Great atmosphere, lovely view of the canals. Food was great, tasty and good portions. Highly recommend a visit, and especially getting the sticky pudding for dessert!

I always love coming to Bank. The service is always exceptional and the servers always look incredible!Today I had the scallops as a starter, which where beautiful. I had a cheese and spinach tart which I actually didn't enjoy too much, not flavoursome enough for me personally, but it was cooled wonderfully. Then I had a chocolate fondant for dessert and that was amazing!Very happy with my visit!

Beautiful experience start to finish! Building is amazing, such a chilled but attentive vibe inside. Staff were so very helpful, service really was second to none. Had the fillet steak which was out of this world and lets just say.. cocktails were hands down some of the best ive had. Highly recommend a friends with benefits 🙌🏼🍹it is on the more pricey side for food but the quality of everything definitely equates & I can't wait to visit again soon!

Great restaurant. Attentive staff. Drinks were nice. I watched the mixologist mix a chocolate and honeycomb old fashioned burboun cocktail (very entertaining) and I also enjoyed the chicken skewer started with the baby new potatoes. Food was nice, I just wished there were bigger portions (but it was only a started I guess).
