Came here Mother’s Day evening. Seated an told that Alisha was our waitress. She came straight over and asked us if she could get us anything drinks. This is where the good service ended. Wasn’t asked about allergies. Luckily I know the menu well. Wasn’t checked back on. So was unable to explain how poor the food was. No questions about the fact half the meals were left. 35 minutes after finishing food we finally managed to call a waitress over to order some deserts. Her name was Lucy. She took our order. 25 minutes later our desserts came. They hadn’t even been microwaved. Fridge cold custard and treacle sponge. Again was unable to get Alisha’s attention. So had to phone the restaurant as Lucy looked busy with her section and the other girl on shift was running up and down the restaurant with a tray in her hand shouting “nearly time to go home!”. “I can go home as soon as my section is done”. She ran past our table, and I mean ran, more than 5 times. After phoning the restaurant in order to get some service. Lucy was sent up to the table. This girl wasn’t even our waitress. I explained the desserts were cold. 10 minutes later Alisha approached our table asked if we were okay? We explained we had sent back our deserts back and was still waiting for them, she took the mayo from the table and walked away saying “okay”. I don’t think I’ve ever had met someone who delivers such poor service as this girl. She was rude, unwelcoming and looked like she’d rather be anywhere other than at our table… She had no other tables! Our table was at 20:45 I get it late but surely she’d want us out as soon as possible, not deliver us shocking service for 2 hours and 10 minutes. (With good service we could of been in and out in just over an hour) Most of our visit was spent waiting for Alisha to come over as I’m sure you’ve now gathered she rarely did. Ended up feeling sorry for Lucy by the looks of it the other girls on shift were making her do and deal with everything while they spoke about going home. Would like to thank Lucy as she wasn’t our set waitress and she tried her best to juggle us with her tables and apologised at the end of our visit. Would never return. Worst hospitality experience I’ve ever had.

Friendly staff and some staff and customers following Covid-19 procedures. Good choice of variety of food for omnivore, vegetarian and vegan including a good choice on beers, spirits and soft drinks. However when we visited, the unlimited refill machine was not working, some of the items we ordered were not available due to issues in the kitchen. We should have got a refill on drink spilled and possible discount due to some foods not being available maybe. Otherwise it was a good night out

*** HARVESTER ***"Too busy" to clean between customers.- Slow service.- Many menu choices were unavailable.- Unclean toilet facilities. Our party of six (including a 5-yr old) were shown to a very poorly cleaned (yet prepared) table - food on seats and crushed fries / mayonnaise littered under table. No option to be reseated. We had to clean the under-table mess ourselves.Limited choice of food blamed on, 'Global pandemic'.Slow service blamed on, 'low staff numbers'.Bad hygiene complaints practically ignored with the comment from the Manager, "Well it's the same at McDonalds".Seriously???Please. Save yourself the trouble and cost and just eat out of a food recycling bin.

Nice place, friendly staff, good food, high prices to accommodate free salad. However, two little things about the salad bar frustrate me:1. Tiny salad bowls, which is fine for those taking it as a side dish with main meal, but staff always pull a face when I ask for a large bowl or a plate to eat off when I order the salad as my main meal.2. There's never any protein on the salad bar. I appreciate harvester has reduced it's salad portfolio due to covid but a balanced salad needs protein. Take off the pineapple and pop in a mixed bean salad.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Service was great and the food was served quick and tasty. The only fault I could pick is that the food menus were filthy. One was unopenable it was so sticky. Other than that, it was great!

Was lovely couldn't fault it. Staff could probably be a bit more cheery but they was pleasant enough. Other than that it was lovely, lovely food, lovely atmosphere was pleasant to be there and will definitely be going back 😀

Popped in today for a meal and was served by Emily who was lovely, polite and attentive!!Food was amazing. I've been eyeing up the dirty double combo for a while now and it impressed. It came out as pictured with a huge quantity of meat inside and the rib meat falling off the bone also.My only nit pick would be this... At the unlimited drinks machine, I believe there should be some sanitiser stationed next to the machine for after you've finished touching to select your drink. Thanks for a great meal 😋

Went in for dessert. Staff not very friendly and forthcoming. Desserts were disappointing to say the least. The portion of chocolate brownie was pathetic for being charged £5. They had ran out of some of the desserts which I can understand. I've been here before a few years ago and stopped coming because of staff attitude. I thought they would have improved but was wrong. Will stick to Harvester in sutton coldfield next time much much and staff are much more pleasant.

Nothing but praise from start to finish. From the welcome to the servers, to the food preparation and quality, the Harvester really put itself on the map for me today as an outstanding restaurant with superb customer delivery experience. After working in the hospitality trade I am always nice to staff who work so hard, especially the waiting staff as that was what I did.The food was cooked to perfection and portion size if what I had was both a challenge but heartily welcomed.A great menu choice left me spoilt for ideas, however I had an urge for ribs and so I chose that and it just happened to come with the biggest burger I have ever tried. The desert menu also was the hero of the night offering little tasters of all they offered, and followed by coffee ☕ after, just made this whole experience amazing.Near to the motorway and not too far from town it is worth the visit, but as I stayed at the premiere Inn, this was just perfect. No hassle, great food at a great price delivered by great staff. As a tired customer from long driving theh really made my night and I reccomend this venue 100% and will be coming again.

Good food reasonably priced, varied menu. Friendly attentive staff. Ideal place to eat of you are staying at Premier Inn next door
