If you go in with very high expectations then you may be disappointed. The service is quick and the store is clean, although can be busy. Good selection of items on the menu also.It is a good place to grab a quick bite. My donner burger was very tasty and the chips were perfect. The dips are a little pricey but you get a good quantity. Overall its a good meal for a relatively good price. Wouldn't mind visiting again.

Nothing special about this place, fancy looking but quality of the food very poor.Peri Peri chicken wasn't nice, lacking seasoning and defo didn't have peri flavour. Full chicken was of a size of a pigeon...Spicy chicken burger was very small - Chips were more filling than this burger...This is not the place I will be going back to

Southern fried chicken burger tasted like a cheap cut of meat, very odd overly peppery taste and the general taste of the meat was exactly the same as some other low quality budget places I have eaten at. Was edible and somewhat nice but would not order the burger again.The chips on the other hand, amazing. By far some of the best classic tasting chips I have ever had. The service was friendly, easy and fast and the forks with tissue inside a little packet are very handy. Sauces cost a bit but theres a decent selection so that's fine.Overall, okish food but exactly what it advertises. Just a glamourised local chippy so don't expect a ton, hence the 3 stars as the food is just not a wow factor.

My lettuce was warmer than the chips and Donner meat 🍖.but I must admit the meal was saved by the strawberry 🍓 milkshake. Now. That was really nice.id have a milkshake again.

One of the nicest and cleanest Big John's I've been in, the young lad who served us was very helpful.He called us over when our food was done.Although it was busy with people coming and going there was plenty of seats inside.Food was nice and tasty and I had a milkshake that was thick and how I'd expect my milkshake to be.We popped in there on our way to town and didn't fancy stopping in town for something to eat as its always so busy, I'd have a take away from there or definitely go in there again.Thank you.

Instead of using the drive through I decided to eat in with my 3 year old. I got her a nuggets and chips. And they refused to put sauce on the chips for her, instead charging 50p on their already hiked prices! I wasn't too hungry so got the spicy chicken burger and it was tiny, the size of my palm. At 4.50 for just a burger you'd expect it to at least taste nice. Mediocre. Also, after waiting 20 minutes with no food in sight I went to the till as my child was by this point irritated. I mean it's supposed to be 'fast food'. I'm so disappointed this drive through used to be good. But because of all these changes (I also see other people complaining about) I won't ever be going back. Shame.

It was my first time visiting this place, and I'd never heard of it. I was surprised to see it had a drive-through, and inside was very spacious plenty of seating. I got half n half 12" pizza with every single topping. It was lovely, nice, and freshly made right in front of you. I also tried the big johns double decker burger as a meal, which was nothing special, tasted like every other place that does 1/2 pounder but perfectly serviceable.All in all, it is a lovely place to eat in with family and friends, or if you're in a rush, a quick stop by the drive-through and you'll have fast fresh food just like that.

Average service food very average actually very overly priced food for the food and location. I’m nothing special visitor for my first time expected to be something amazing but absolutely disappointed. The burger was sauceless and actually the one of the blandest burgers I’ve had for a very long time.

Donner meat n chips and their fish n chips are exceptional. How ever I thought I'd try their big J burger as it looks very appealing , but was very disappointed ,in my opinion merigo or Pepe gourmet burger is way better looking and tastes more meaty with the similar price tag, definitely not worth the price. Nice deco and good customer service.
