Lovely meal in a wonderful setting. Excellent breakfast and lunch place. Has a lot of food options. Tons of outdoors and indoor setting. Lovely and friendly service. I highly recommend this area if you are in the area for a meal.

awesome coffee, it does get very very busy weekends so i tend to walk past as ques get big and seats get taken up by people longer than needed. quality is good and staff are polite.

We sat outside, where there were loads of tables, with the dog. It was very busy on a dry but cold Sunday afternoon. Coffees and hot chocolates arrived quite promptly considering how busy they were. Both hot chocolate and coffee was delicious. Justifiably popular spot.

Lovely cafe, ideal spot after a walk in the park, not ideal with dogs in the winter as you can’t sit inside. However the staff are very friendly, lovely food, clean and tidy with a warm atmosphere, I plan to visit again

Blackroot Bistro is located in an ideal location for exploring Sutton Park either walking on your own or with dogs. We have stopped of for a coffee on the outside terrace on many occasions and found the service friendly and efficient. The other day I decided to go with a friend for breakfast. Having entered the inside area I was disappointed to find that tables were not being visably sanitised after people were departing. The breakfast was in my opinion mediocre with over cooked bacon and sausage that had little taste all served on a barely warm plate. No one asked if the meal was to our satisfaction.I shall not be returning for breakfast as there are many places in the area offering better value for money.

Got up, decided to go for an autumn walk with my friend before breakfast. Before our 10,000 steps we need replenishment and where best to get our breakfast but here! Fantastic pit stop! Really tasty bacon sandwich. Was surprised how many other ppl decided to have a break on a Friday morning, must be because the food is soooo good! Going to stop off here again soon! See you on Friday! Lol

Food was lovely and in a great place with plenty of parking. You may struggle with seating at peak times as it is so popular but even at those times, food comes quick and is very hot. Me and my partner went and for the two of us a breakfast, two drinks each and a cake each came to around £30 so it is a tad pricier than some places!

Great little Bistro on the edge of sutton parks blackroot pool. Nice cappuccino and breakfast burger. Also a tea and cheese on chips. All was well cooked and well presented all was in disposable eco friendly cups and boxes. Toilets available and good covid monitoring. Plenty of seating outside

Really enjoyed visiting the Blackroot bistro. My family and I stopped off whilst out cycling in Sutton Park and I was very impressed with how clean the bistro was and how they manage the social distancing measures whilst still delivering a good service. They had hand sanitizers set up in several places and a one way system indoors so you order your items and wait outside for your number to be called. Well done and thank you.

Friendly enough here with a professional set up supporting stopping the spread of the virus.I had a white Americano and a cookie for £3.40The coffee was okay, but I prefer a little stronger, next time I'll try a latte with an extra shot.Quite busy, with good health and hygiene practice. The only negative was card payment only (luckily I unlocked my brand new card an hour earlier) and no prices on the tempting treats. The cookies were fairly priced at £1.10, but the cakes were rather expensive, I believe.Prices on the cakes would help as would a return to cash payments when outdoor hospitality resumes. Will go back after mid April and re-edit this review
