I'm sure it's really nice. Unfortunately after travelling 6 and a half hours we couldn't check in despite having booked and paid for for two nights B and B. Initially lies from staff that someone was present to let us in before finally admitting there wasn't. Not contactable by phone either so we had to find alternative accommodation. Only credit to this shambolic business is that we receive a half hearted apology and were refunded relatively quickly. Not good at all.

Wow! What a great experience. We stayed in the hotel which was lovely. The room was huge, as was the modern bathroom with both a bath and shower. Very homely. We also ate in the restaurant which was again exceptional. The food was so tasty, especially the carrot cake starter and the ribs; delicious. Staff are all friendly and accommodating. Great location, only 15mins walk to the city centre and lots of other amenities close by including free use of the gym opposite.

Terrible Terrible experience, I was there for two days as a guest of their landlord, very bad reception with a person who could not even find the keys to the room. In the morning you go down to breakfast, the restaurant closed and nobody was there. I'm out. The next morning same thing. To get to the room you pass in dirty places full of trash thrown around everywhere. The room nothing special. There was no hairdryer so after a shower my hair was wet. In short, do not go there, it really sucks!

What a hidden gem 💎Funky, parts traditional, restaurant and bar roomy. Service excellent. Food is clean tasting showing quality ingredients and chef ability. Please go to eat, you won't be disappointed. Vietnamese food, not hot though. Extremely tasty. Beautiful outside garden area too.So lucky to have found it. Booking rooms for wedding next year.

The restaurant is set in a fabulous building but has no parking which is an issue. This should be high lighted to state where visitors can park. The menu was limited and also looked a little slap dash and as though it was printed off a home PC. There were a few decent dishes from the initial thoughts but the cooking was average at best. There are many things that should be introduced from making all dishes from scratch to providing good value.I think the service needs to be seriously looked into where you do not need to constantly ask for service or even for someone to come and take your drink orders. Over all it was an overpriced and under whelmed night with little else to be excited about other than when we could get bill and leave.

Have now stayed here twice and will be doing so again. Staff very friendly and genuinely helpful and responsive. Comfy beds, good shower. Breakfast is continental, but with a wide choice and very fresh croissants. About a 10 minutes' walk to the Vale accommodation for the University so very handy for visiting.

Very kind service and very delicious food. All the dishes that we ordered were above expectations. The vibe was really good and the garden beautiful. Prices are also normal. I would definitely suggest it.

We have always been fans of The Blue Piano but the past 2 times we have been we have been sorely disappointed with the service. A few months back my husband and I booked a table for dinner. When we arrived we were given a choice of table either inside or out and we choice a table in the garden. Our drinks were brought promptly but then we sat for almost an hour without food menus or any interaction with staff. We had to ask for menus. A few minutes later a member staff came over to say that we were sat at a table for 4 and that we may have to move if they needed it!!!! Why ask me where I want to sit if I can't sit there!! Needless to say I made my thoughts known and that we would be staying where we were! Food was delicious - as always - but the wait and being asked to move put a dampener on it. Thinking that perhaps we had caught it on a bad day we booked for their bottomless bellini brunch. On arrival we were given the wrong menus and asked what we wanted to drink - when we explained we'd booked the brunch the young man told me I could get them from the outside bar meaning we'd have to have several trips backwards and forwards. The table was booked for 2pm, kitchen closes at 3pm, bottomless for 2.5 hrs but it appears serving staff finish at 3 too so we had no choice but to go outside and get our drinks. This wasn't a massive problem as the weather was nice but we really got the impression nobody really knew what was going on! I think we'll find a replacement for the future!
