Turned up last minute for some food and was welcomed in and immediately was greeted by the manager asking if he could help and he immediately said yes sir you're welcome. As for the food it's probably the best curry ice had in years. So a big thank you for your excellent service and fantastic food. Cheers

The food wasn’t nice at all and we all had bad stomach after eating the food. Selection of poor quality food that don’t taste nice at all. Overpriced also for what it is . We paid £90 almost for 2 adults and 2 children

I cannot praise the management staff and super chefs enough. We dine at the Boars head quite often... the food is absolutely amazing and the staff second to none. You all go above and beyond, excellent service.. Thank you all so much for going the extra mile for my mothers 81st birthday and the many other occasions... xxx

It is lovely to see the Boar's Head open again. The food is always freshly prepared & very tasty. There is plenty of choice for vegetarians. My only criticism is the deserts. Either extremely sweet or tasteless. The fresh fruit is a good alternative though.

Love the choice of food in this restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Recommend if you have people with different tastes.

Enjoyed the Indian food more than the rest. Feel more time and effort is taken over these. Starters were really tasty. The stir fry lacked flavour as did all the desserts.Also the alcohol free cocktails were a little expensive for what they were. Not that I drank them, just paid for them.

Friendly staff. Nice surroundings. Good quality food & very good variety. I have 2 fussy eaters & they both had plenty to eat & said they would like to go back. Would definitely go again.

Good selection, hot food cooked fresh, only disappointment was the desserts.Tiny bowl, so tried to have bread pudding and custard and the ladle was as big as an eye wash and the custard was watery, so it took 7 scoops to fill my tiny bowl up.Small dinner plates, which is standard fare in most buffets to prevent waste, so just use 2 plates!Drinks slightly more expensive than usual but they do good tea.Good place to meet friends. Accessible and clean (I use a power chair) disabled toilet Good, but be careful as when transferring, the floor is slightly slippery.Staff attentive and friendly. Lots of parking, good disabled spaces are on Aldridge Road side approach, only 2 though, but more parking round the back. Ramp entrance.Recommended.
