Boathouse Restaurant at Bracebridge in Birmingham

We only had a coffee and a cake but both were very nice and enjoyed very much. The queue was about 7 people deep but we were served quick with drink orders being taken while in the queue. Very well run, will definitely be coming back maybe for lunch next time.

I have walked and cycled past this idyllic restaurant many times over the years but last night was the first time I have actually experienced the food...The internal fit out complements the surroundings (views over bracebridge pool are simply sublime). The food was excellent and portion size generous. Service was impeccable. I will be visiting again...

The staff at Bracebridge are absolutely fantastic! Yesterday my dog, whilst walking nearby, lacerated an artery and I managed to get him to Bracebridge. The staff were so attentive, assisted with first aid and the manager (who’s first day it was) drove me 5km to my car even though I was covered in blood! Such a fantastic guy who I am sure will excel in his role there, whilst ensuring attentive customer service! My dog very nearly died and was in systemic shock, so their actions yesterday saved his life! Truly amazing staff and their coffee is pretty decent too!! Thank you guys!

We dined for our sons birthday. There was 6 of us. Myself and husband had beef Bourginon which was absolutely divine. Melted in your mouth and it was so tasty. Delicious. My son and son in law had steaks which they too said where perfectly cooked to their liking and delicious side of mac and cheese we all tried as it was so tasty to. The starters were all delicious smoked salmon, liver patè and scallops done to perfection. Finally the pudding s finished it all off lovely. Absolutely delicious and lovely prepared mealhad by us all.Service was spot on not rushed or slow. They were very polite and checking we were ok with our meals . Delightful surroundings cant wait to return. Thank you for such a lovely evening. ANNA

Great staff great food. Wonderful venue where having walked the dog you can sit down and have a well priced meal.

Unbelievable food! Very very impressed. The waiting on team are so friendly and very professional. I can’t wait to come back here again, I must admit, it isn’t Sat Nav friendly, but I can deal with that because the experience was so good. I can recommend the prawn cocktail starter, unbelievable, and the steak I had is easily one of the best steaks that I have ever tried. And I’ve had a few! Brilliant place.

Wonderful restaurant inside Sutton park. The Sunday roast is honestly the best I've had. Highly recommend this little gem but reservations are a must.

Really lovely surroundings and decor in the restaurant. The lamb melted in your mouth and the fish and chip was massive, we could have shared it. The bread and olives to start tasted good too. Staff were friendly and attentive. I would come back.

Beautiful location just watch your tires as pot holes galore to get to the restaurant. Ordered food and paid £7.50 for a chicken burger that wasn’t edible, deep fat fried chicken greasy and didn’t even look like chicken just awful. A lot of people had ordered pizzas and they looked good just put me off completely going back.

Nice views of the poolSomeone has spent a fortune preparing this business for when hospitality can open for socially distanced outdoor drinking and dining.I had a very good Flat White for £3. More expensive than what I wanted to pay, but the complimentary biscuits were much appreciated. Excellent coffee and pleasant service from the young female servers.I can imagine this business doing well when normality resumes 👋
