This is the best Mexican (adapted) food that you can have in Birmingham. I've been multiple Bodega destinations and the food is constantly good between them. The staff on this particular visit were very attentive despite it being a busy Saturday night - and made us aware of the wait on food so that we could order more drinks and nachos accordingly.I would recommend booking in advance as this is a really popular place in one of the most popular central streets in Birmingham. Also ,the fish tacos are off the hook!

We came here for a quick dinner and few cocktails everything was amazing. Great service!

Relaxed lunch, cocktails were two for £10 - can mix these from the varied cocktail menu. Food is good, plenty of choice, and nice sized portions including smaller plate options. Good value for money. Staff were attentive and friendly.

We came here for a quick lunch and a few drinks and everything was amazing! The food arrived relatively quickly and was delicious and the drinks were great too! Our server, Clarissa was so welcoming and really made the trip special. She made sure to create a friendly atmosphere and I really enjoyed talking to her! She is a real credit to Bodega and we will be returning ♥️

Came in for a lovely little meal and a little bit of a drink, had a lovely Time was absolutely full with wonderful food. The cocktails were two for one so you bet we took advantage of that! The staff were lovely, including the lovely lady that served us, very welcoming!Honestly, will be definitely coming back :)

We ordered a range of dishes from the menu, including a burrito, enchiladas, fish tacos and the sweet potato fries. Some nice flavour combinations, however the sides were over priced and underwhelming and the food didn't quite have that wow South American factor.

I’ve been here many times but todays visit felt underwhelming. I pretty much always get the burrito and the way it was cut just made it impossible to eat. The food quality itself was really tasty but I know how to eat a burrito and todays offering made me have to use a knife and fork. It may look pretty on the plate but it’s very tricky to eat this way.

Wouldn't recommend! Waited 1+ hours for food and had to ask where it was. When it came enchiladas and quesadillas looked and tasted lovely but my burrito was cheap and nasty, it leaked water the whole time I was eating it! Then waited about an hour for dessert and had to ask where that was! Had to ask twice for knifes and forks too!!! Staff ditsy and unhelpful, fairly rude.

I'm not certain how I feel about this place after visiting it a few nights ago. The inside is a bit quirky, the tables are quite close together and it just felt slightly compact. The food was okay, just okay. The chicken Nachos we had for starters were really good, but we were slightly disappointed with the mains. I ordered a chicken and prawn curry. The prawns, sauce and rice were lovely, but the chicken was so dry I picked it all out and then ordered another portion of prawns to go with it. My husband ordered a burger, but it came in a wrap instead or a burger bun. He didn't enjoy it much. It's was just not very appetising. The staff all seemed lovely, but I'm afraid the food let the place down.Probably wouldn't visit here again. I definitely prefer Las Iguanas for this type of South American food.

Is nice place in city centre ,little colourful cantina, good cocktails and happy stuff, very special Mexican menu.Is some toilets and occupation for children 👶 with crayons 🖍 and painting paper 📝…But rice was not fresh and kids pizza was very pure, nothing on it..Wish better for this restaurant,be more attentive with food and chef 👨‍🍳 But we like 👍 you as a positive and colourful place❤️
