This is place I’ve fancied trying for a while having driven past numerous times and it didn’t disappoint! We had a pork loin Sunday dinner and a half beer can chicken and both were really good, well cooked plates of food & for £28, decent value.Beers may be slightly higher than elsewhere in town, but you won’t find the same drinks anywhere else as this place has its own brewery on siteThe service was good, though it wasn’t particularly busy when we visited. Nice place inside and out, I’ll happily visit again

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed out radom visit yesterday. We spent quality time and had some delicious food and drinks. The vegan options are the best I've seen in a pub for a while.

I worked here before it even opened - left due to the ‘culture problem’ within - hopefully things have changed since. Was only here for about 10 days! Anyway - The lady (Maddie) serving me initially was very pleasant - she recommended me a drink and gave me a taster before purchasing. Excellent customer service. Not only that but her ‘persona’ was a lot more pleasant than the other woman. I was then at the bar looking at the food menu and another woman seemed quite ‘irate’ in her manor and asked if she could help. I explained that I am just looking at the food menu. She did not seem in the best of moods to be honest. I then went to sit where I was and there were many glasses on the table which I did not mind but I put them on the table next to me. This later got cleared by the second lady and she started wiping down other tables that had no customers seated. In my opinion she should have done mine first as it was clearly dirty. When I asked for the spray so I could do this myself her response again was quite negative. (As if I was being a ‘nuisance’) not nice from a customer point of view. Food wise - not the best to be honest. The corn? I dont see the point - how you supposed to eat this? Will prefer it if it was sliced before hand. And no paper for the chips cup? Beans were luke warm. Also to end the cutlery - mainly the knives were not cleaned / polished. Please may I add this is not the pot washers responsibility. It was just stained and clearly they don't use cutlery shine. This must have been done a lot later / not polished at all. Not good for a pub in this area / general standards. Maybe I will return - not sure. The beer was good. Thanks Maddie

Thank you to Gary and the team for the last year of warm welcomes, delicious food and much needed drinks. You have all made a difficult time so much more bearable. Most of all thank you for being so kind to Mom and giving her a fantastic final party . We will be back to visit whenever we are back in Sutton . From Sarah, Elizabeth, Richard and Freddie the dog. Went for the gin experience, was really good. Maddie, the bar girl was very knowledgeable regarding all the different gins and handled our drunken nonsense really well! Chicken burger to die for!Went back a week later as I was in the area, had a mixture of the small plates, all extremely tasty. Will be sure to visit again.

Held my Daughter's 18th afternoon party at Brewhouse, Sutton Coldfield. Many thanks to Charlotte and the team, great service, very accomodating.

Bit of a let down.Searched this place out after looking for somewhere to eat yesterday.First impression is great, beautiful building and an actual in-house brewery.Decent selection of beers and wines, the menu looks really good.Now the downside, if you order from the app or the staff, the wait for drinks is painfully slow! I actually asked if they are short staffed and the girl said no!I understand it’s tricky to staff a Saturday afternoon but long waits for drinks isn’t acceptable.The food is ok, was hoping for much more, but sadly not, pork belly was overdone, crab cakes the crab had run off!The ipa steamed chicken had a nice skin but the sauce was lacking!The steak 🥩 was probably the best of everything, nicely seasoned and tasty.Staffing issues are a big issue for me
