Nice pub showing football near where we were staying however bar staff are the absolute nosiest staff I have ever had the misfortune of being near. They threw bottles into the bottle bin as loud as they could....customers nearby were having heart attacks! As an ex bar tender myself we were trained to not be heard rather than bang crash wallop every few minutes! Not pleasant. A real shame.

Only popped in for a cup of tea the girl served us was very pleasant. l needed a cup of hot water for my teabag as she didn't have what I wanted and it was free of charge. Makes a change as some places charge. So all very nice.

Great pub. Great beers, nice food, massive garden. Took my parents and kids. Great for all ages!

Good neighbourhood bar. It was a fairly cold night, there was a large log burner in the room behind the main bar. I enjoyed my time there.

The staff are always attentive, and since changing management a few years ago the pub has gone from strength to strength. Better beer, entertainment, decent food and a cocktail bar to boot!

Big beer garden. Order beers via QR code app from your table (good choice inc. Low alcohol for driver). Quick service. Order burgers and add ons at food bar. Given buzzer to know when to pick up food. Choice of burgers, fries and dips excellent. No complaints at all. 26th Sept, maybe last of the late summer sun and good to be able to spend time sitting outside.

Great food from Original Patty Men 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 massive pub and massive outdoor garden. App for drinks very quick service. Not much parking always very busy so you have to park down the road.

Discrimination is at the heart of this establishment, anybody with disabilities is not welcome here. If you have a disability please go elsewhere rather than be discriminated here by a bunch of low life jobsworth

Absolute gem, we have driven past this for so many years. I never knew about it until we fancied a Sunday roast and did some research. We will be coming back, absolutely gorgeous Sunday roast. Everyone was happy. Thank you so much. Our waiter was great, the food came out in good time and was lovely and warm. My wife was happy with the vegetarian option, she said it was the best ever! Very well priced! Won’t go anywhere else when we are in the neighbourhood. Thank you

The garden is still love, with green views towards the river. They have a lot of music events and serve food and cocktails. I did eat here a few years ago and it was fine. They've since changed the menu. The pub itself is lovely but the toilets are dingy and horrible and I would never come on a busy night. They need a new toilet block but they've done a lovely, respectful job redoing the rest of the rooms, in keeping with the Victorian splendour.
