Buba Joes in Birmingham

Went upstairs with some food only to see the area was a tip with a lot of food just lying on the ground by the bin. Within a few seconds I saw a mouse run behind a radiator. We went straight back downstairs with our food (which was quite average with very small lamb patties). Needless to say I won't be coming here again.

The place is dirty filthy and unhygienic and cash payments only much has changed since three years ago. Avoid unless you want diarrhoea

I don't know what's happened to this place, the food used to be fresh, presented nicely and looked tasty but recently something has gone wrong. The food is not the same, does not taste good, everything is just thrown into a burger - things missing from the burger and items being missed from the order too. It looks like there are new workers there who don't know what they are doing. I went upstairs to use seating there but was shocked because every single table was full of rubbish and meals from previous customers. Very bad hygiene, very bad customer service and I won't be visiting there again.

The chefs and staff were continuously arguing with a very bad tempered chef who just walked out and was passing comments argumentatively in Arabic to the one who works at the front. Mainly the chef was continuously messing up orders. Also it’s a very large premises and the table have been patched up with yellow duct tape. The entire place was filthy with grease and oil stain on the windows. The decor was exactly the same from 10 years ago with no updating. Toilets upstairs stank so badly that you can’t go near them yet alone use them.This is a very very huge premises and the owner should come in disguise and eat their with their family to see how it’s really working and to see if it’s a place where they would go regularly. Places like uruba cafe as well as pepes have very decent seating and that’s they are competing with. It was fantastic when it started but since it has turned into a cash cow it’s suffering from neglect and ofcourse other places will get their customers.

Price compared to portion size is TERRIBLE. Don't waste your money here its not worth it. Many better places all over Coventry road.

Usually love coming here. The spicy chicken coating used to be a lovely bright colour. I don't know what they are using now. It makes the food look dull and boring.

I do not recommend anything. Last time I went here I only got one slushie. When I asked for 3 for my friends, and they have no burgers and Chips! The service is so trash. They aren’t friendly. I heard them swearing in the back

Would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want to die!! Made me wait 30 mins for a chicken burger which came out very raw and yet i was the only customer in there so it was not busy at all. This place needs to close down!!

One of my preferences when am near the area, love the mega mix burger plenty of chicken, nice looking place staff seem polite for those that havent been, try it out!

Just stopped at bubba Joe's. Some new burgers on the menu. Just had a combo with onion rings.chicken, beef,egg. Very nice. Delicious fillings and sauce. Very tasty.
