Buonissimo in Birmingham

Visited here for the first time on Friday with friends who highly recommend everything about the place. And they were not wrong! 1st class service, amazing food, great choice of drinks and a lovely atmosphere. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Brilliant restaurant for Italian food ,not very big but food and staff are great have been several times and never had a bad meal highly recommend to try you won't be disappointed.

A wonderful little restaurant. Love for good food shines through the creative menu (changing seasonally) and the warm service.

Lovely little place tucked away off the highstreet. Personally I found it a little pricey for what was served, but others enjoyed their food. Ordered a child's portion of the chicken and vegetables, received and was charged for an adult portion, she didn't eat most as the chicken was sadly dry.I'm not a fan of seafood Inc fish, so I struggled with the menu, there were very few items I could pick from, so not a place to attend if you don't like seafood or fish etc.Someone ordered the gnocci, and whilst it was lovely, it was only a small portion compared to everyone else's meals.Lots of drinks available, staff all friendly and lovely, definitely no complaints there, just feel like the food let them down a little. Nice, bit overpriced for what you get.

Fabulous! Delicious! Friendly! Gluten Free too! Delicious gnocchi. Fresh salads. Wide variety of sides , pastas, meat dishes. Lovely setting and near Cadbury’s world. I assure you, eat here not at Cadbury 😂😂😂. I wish I could go back today but I live in London. Look

Excellent italian cuisine with italian owner who’s always very welcoming.Nice cosy place. Italian restaurant tucked away in Harborne. If you like Italian food then give it a try. Service is good and the staff are friendly. The one down side is beware they change the menu every so often. So if you come back to enjoy something from a few weeks ago it may not be on there this time. One of our party had a issue with something on the menu that was stated the same on the menu from about 3 weeks prior,but hadn't got the same sauce that was had before. Little bit pricey for a meal that could be described as a Sunday lunch you could get in a pub.

Great evening here, everything we had was tried by everyone, and everyone loved everything. My choice was the Arrosro Di Maiale - pork belly with crackling in a red wine sauce. Not normally a fan of crackling but this was just perfect. Fantastic food, nice place and very reasonably priced too. Will be back!

My second time at buonissimo food is always beautiful, exquisite dining. Lots to choose on the menu but won't be disappointed. Staff friendly make you feel welcome they work really hard to make you comfortable. Fast service with a smile would definitely recommend

I went today after ages with my friend and i was really disappointed in the food. I ordered the duck, recommended by the waitress who was not wearing a mask or shield when she took our order. No effort was made on presentation. The duck to me was undercooked so i did not eat it all and the mash was lumpy and tasteless. The black cabbage was too salty. I just could not eat it all as i did not enjoy it. Neither the Manager or waitress came up to us to ask us if the food was ok while we were eating it. I only enjoyed the red wine. My friend was not happy with his salmon dish and said the roast potatoes were not soft enough. He also said the staff were not welcoming. I have enjoyed going there in the past but its just not the same anymore. I know that the pandemic has not helped but after today's experience i will not be going back.
