Charming, rustic pub with a fireplace, a waterfront patio, real ales & grub, including breakfast.

Didn’t spend much time in Birmingham, but it was very hard to find a nice cozy pub. And Canalside Bar is definitely one of them! Perfect for small groups, if you’re alone like myself and don’t like massive traditional pubs. Loved it!

Beer selection is great but there is something for all not just alcoholic beverages, reasonable price and food is great. Summer time by the canal side will be amazing, definitely recommend

Very poor experience. Went in as advertised mulled cider for £3.50. Seemed good value until they charged an extra £4.50 for a shot of rum to put in it. Most expensive mulled cider and rude man when asked about it.

Great staff, unique vibe. It's a hidden gem of Birmingham! I'd recommend visiting if you're on your own or with one other person. Any more than that and you'll just get in the way! It's a very small place so please don't bring your stag party of 30 ;)

the staff were perfectly nice, but £6.45 for a single pint of 4.0% Rekorderlig?? When my friends paid £10 for 2 pints only 10 mins prior?? Not on your nelly. Won’t be going back until they’ve sorted that out.

Lovely little bar, enjoyed a Guinness whilst sat watching canal life going by 😊

A great bar with a lovely warm snug. The range of drinks they have is huge. A really good place to spend a while, sitting by the side of the canal.

Was served warm non local cider as they're ran out of cooled ones. There's also no more local ciders so you'll get store bought, while they advertise locally made. tight area and none of the signs shows prices. The pub is astetic but small, so during busy hours you'll have to step over people to get around.

Excellent, quaint bar. Sat there for 3 hours, 2 days running, just watching the canal world go by. Fantastic staff. Not cheap, but well worth the money.

Went in here for my first time last night. Warm and cozy little place. Lots of cozy seating next to an open fire. Quirky and dainty. It is a lovely little place. Great selection of drinks and friendly staff. Toilets were unusual but matched the feel of the place of its authentic & rustic nature. Toilets were clean when I went. On my list of favourite pubs.
