We have been visiting China Court for +10years.Never been disappointed with the quality of food. Service is.... well, how can I put it.... Chinese style😄The restaurant is located on the 1st floor (no lift) with a small bakery on the ground floor. No doubt we will be visiting there again soon.

Good food, good portions, good ambiance. For those who think the customer service is bad, that's just how it is in Cantonese restaurants. Toughen your hide up a bit; you'll enjoy life more.

They do not serve you if you are inconsiderate enough to have a food allergy. I was asked to leave after sitting around for twenty minutes. When the waiter came to take the order, and I mentioned about the allergy, he replied bluntly that they don't serve anyone with allergy. As I was leaving I mentioned that this should be mentioned in front of the restaurant to save customers (and the restaurant time and hassle) - so, he showed me a bunch of notices - in small print - behind the bar. They apparently say that people with allergy are not allowed in - I have to take his word for it, because the print was too small to read even standing three feet away from the signs. So, an interesting experience - in 2022 - people with food allergy being refused food in a restaurant.

The vast dining room has all the charm of the multi-storey car park, onto which it abuts. Arriving at 8.30 on a Saturday evening, we were quizzed if having our starter and our main courses served together was acceptable. A bit nonplussed, we gamely agreed, but the evening took on an even more bizarre twist when we were served our main course first and only then our starter! Looking around, it was apparent that there were very few Chinese clients. From this we drew our own conclusions…. To cap the evening, we had the distinct impression the staff wanted us out by 9.30 as they hustled food higgledy-piggledy to the table. And the food itself? Adequate, no more.

Not too bad!But the chow meh & ho fun size were a little bit small

By far one of the best Chinese restaurants around. Seriously authentic. Excellent and genuine customer service with Cantonese and English spoken amongst the team. Food quality and speed of service is impeccable. The food is what makes China Court really standout. The range of flavours and textures cooked in to every dish makes you want to work your way through the menu. The roast meats are always so succulent and vegetables are cooked perfectly. If visiting Birmingham's China Town (or Brum city centre as a whole really) head to China Court for some Dim Sum lunch or heir dinner menu later in the night.

Very tasty and quick serving food

Delicious food, especially Cheung Fun, which i first tried in this restaurant. However, unfortunately there aren't many vegetarian options (ask for a vegetarian menu if you are interested) which is a shame. The interior of the restaurant is very cozy and the staff is very nice.
