Cielo in Birmingham

One of the nicest Italian restaurants in Birmingham. Lovely staff and very accommodating as always. No different from previous visits. Worth a visit if you haven't been. I had Tempura Prawns 🍤 for starter, they were delicious, could have eaten more! For main I had Fillet Steak 🥩with chunky chips and 🍏 apple and blackberry crumble for dessert with custard and ice cream. My partner also had the Tempura 🍤 prawns for main the Tournedo Rossini then Pannacotta for dessert.One of my special places to eat in Birmingham along with the nice glass of 🥂 wine I had. See you again Cielo 👍🏽♥️

I will NOT be visiting again and I would NOT recommend to anyone! AVOID!!!The restaurant was not busy and we had to wait a while to be seated. The wait time for the food/ waiters to come over to us when we needed something and the bill was ridiculous and took ages! We most likely spent 40 minutes extra overall waiting around for our food and the staff to see to us.The food was average and overpriced for valentines.We spoke to Angela on the phone who was lovely. Ali however was RUDE, abrupt and did not smile. Miserable staff. The waiter who served us was polite and happy, although also sarcastic after I asked what he would recommend from 2 dishes.

Overall not bad but there were some issues. The place looks good and you have lots of place at the table but is noisy. Waiters were disorganised (the head of service did a very good job though). Food was OK but a little bit disappointed by desserts.

Atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant was lovely. Staff was welcoming and patient. Sadly, the Risotto Funghi I ordered was a little tasteless - I expected more. However, my friends enjoyed their various dishes.

We visited Cielo on Saturday evening for a joint 50th birthday celebration as a party of 12. Our reservation was for 7.30pm and when we arrived I felt extremely poorly and didn't feel up to eating. I sat in the beautiful outside area and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was OK. They brought me jugs of water and checked I was warm enough. The ladies had a fabulous meal and said the food was just fantastic. I look forward to coming back here when I feel better so that I can experience the beautiful dishes on the menu. A huge thank you to everybody who made our evening so wonderful ❤️

Very delicious food and staff super kind. I would suggest it for everyone wants to taste italian food 🇮🇹♥️

Ordered 2 fillet steaks, one medium the other medium rare, both came not only well done but had crispy edges!!!! Calamari very thin and dry pretty tasteless too

Had a wonderful night at Cielo, visited with my friend on Saturday night. We shared a seafood trio starter and also had artisan bread board, went well together. We both loved it, had couple of coctails, my champagne coctail was delicious, but sadly my friend wasn't too keen on their strawberry daiquiri. We also had mains, lamb trio main course and spaghetti bolognese, I loved my lamb very much, pasta was tasty,good...but not blowing my mind, although presentation was nice. Also wanted to say thank you to our lovely French waitress. Sadly I forgot to ask her name, but she was super attentive and looked after us very well:) we will definitely return.

We made a welcome return to Cielo which did not disappiont. Food and service were exceptional.

It's been a couple of years since I was last here and I recently took my other half with had an amazing experience she loved it so this place for me gets 5star Thank you to everyone at Cielo making it a memorable one
