Classic Fish Bar in Birmingham

Worst place i've ever bought food from. Staff are rude, and most can hardly speak English, so often get food orders wrong. It seems not much has changed since it was closed down by environmental health, a few years ago. Looks and feels dirty. Definitely one to avoid.

Absolutely revolting food, chicken not cooked properly, chicken doner was old and had a really funky smell to it. Waste of money. Went straight into the bin. Never again.

Shocking hygiene, I watched them around the back making the food, I cancelled my order and left- didn't feel like food poisoning today!

Used to be nice but my last couple of orders were terrible. The chicken wings were stone cold and disgusting! Never ordering them again. It was like they were either not cooked or just come out the fridge! Not buying from them again! Don’t know what’s happened to them.

Honestly would give this place 0 stars if I couldI ordered 1 large & 1 regular pizza, 3 cans, a cone of chips and a 5pc popcorn chicken kids meal with chips. Most of the order came correct apart from the kids meal which- instead of the popcorn chicken and chips I ordered, came a piece of chicken covered in chilli and Mayo. I called the restaurant up and explained the issue- I was rudely and aggressively told that I was lying about my order and there was nothing they could do. I was then told to send a picture of the wrong product to a random number they gave me- but this wasn’t possible. I called them back only to be given yet another mouthful of agression and attitude and yelling being told I’m lying. My mum took the phone and explained that we had a receipt and the order had Mayo- which I’m allergic to and she was also greeted with the same rudeness and attitude. In the end they continued shouting down the phone and refused to send me my food- NEVER ordering from them again

Always fresh chips and the wings oh my goodness if you want real Wings not jiblets this is the place same for a real kebab

Ordered from Classic, Erdington High Street this evening and I'm sorry to say ( as a regular customer for 2 years) the one and a half portions of peri peri chicken was awful. It smelled off and tasted off. We are so disappointed. We will not be ordering from this place again.

We ordered 6x large Fish in Naan. The fish was nowhere to be seen? Guess what, it was buried deep inside the Naan covered with sauces, salad and full size onions. The fish was too small to be seen, this business is going down the gutters of lately?!

Ordered fries expecting the hot crispy thin sort except they were soggy and like oven chips. Delivery took about an hour and half!Kebab meat nothing special, dry and tasteless. No sauces put on but came separate and the chicken niblets didn’t really taste of anything but rubber.Will be reluctant to order from here again and will stick to the chip shops heading out towards Sutton Coldfield.
