Love this place always have a great time and the owner is lovely

Used to be my favourite haunt for Indian cuisine in the Birmingham locale. My wife entry last weekend and days it was shocking. Suspect it changed hands over the lockdown. Got suspicious when they stopped taking card payments.

This used to be a genuinely good restaurant(we used to visit very very often). Unfortunately, the last six months everything has changed but for the worse. I am not going to elaborate why the food is not as good as it used to be ... its the management's decision how and what they cook. The main issue is the quality of the food being served that has raised serious concerns on at least two different occasions.Lastly, comparing to before it seems that probably very very powerful cooker hoods have been installed -lately we couldn't smell the food being cooked. Apparently, the very powerful cooker hoods operate without any obvious noises as well!!!

Visited Imlees for a family party, using the room upstairs. Having paid £25 a head, the food was very poor and I would not recommend this restaurant. The prawn bhuna has literally a couple of sandwich prawns in each portion. Ditto with regard to the chicken in the chicken tikka. The portions served out to the guests in attendance were inadequate. This was a £5 meal at best. Disappointing that the management let this happen. Certainly won't be going back

Very friendly, manager is so helpful, fabulous food, slightly smaller portions than some but really the tastiest.

Went along for a friend's birthday, we had a beautiful night. The meal was enjoyed by all... We were catered for brilliantly, the manager took time to talk to us. Great night, great banter

We have previously ordered from here on a few occasions and the food has been pleasant. We ordered from here 10/08 and we had some very questionable food. Very disappointing. I am happy to amend my review is this feedback is reviwed among the imlees team

Visited Imlees this evening and can honestly say it was the worst curry I've ever eaten, if I did not know better I would say I had been given a stew!! ...and a BADLY COOKED ONE AT THAT. Will not be returning.

The food is good had tandoori mix grill alot of food for one person came with salad would like more salad next time and maybe sauces on the side.I love that you can bring your own drinks!!staff were nice and I love tandoori fish first time trying it I would I have again instead of the mix grill just because it's too much food for me.

Best Indian food in Birmingham by far. Absolutely love the food. There is a big difference between a curry house and true Indian food and you'll know it when you come here. Highly recommended.
