Desi Dera in Birmingham

The place was packed out and they offered a good table ..is it me or were the portions smaller than the last time

There’s so much I don’t know where to begin. Food was extremely oily. It’s been 4 hours and I can still feel the oil in my throat irritating me. Hygiene was a -3/5. The table was dirty and sticky and the chairs were dirty aswell. I had to clean it myself. Food did not taste nice aswell as the fact the portion sizes were small. The glasses looked old as well as the cutlery. -5/5 for me. I do not recommend this place for anyone.

I ordered a LARGE mix grill off uber eats. Paid £25. I was given 3 kebabs, 3 chops, 2 wings, 2 fish pieces, my chicken tikka was 1 piece diced up into tiny pieces, my lamb tikka was also 1 piece diced up into tiny pieces. See the photo for yourself. Food was nice, but I'm suppose to get 6 pieces of chicken tikka whole, same with the "lamb". Mutton is being sold in the name on lamb. The pieces of fish were 2 inches big, over cooked and very oily.Had I not got my refund through Ubereats I would have thrown the food back at them and got my refund myself through the till.Their other branch isn't far off either, charcoal grill. Prices don't match the quality and quantity of food.

Terrible food and place!! Hygiene is 0 and the price compared to the quality and quantity of the food is 0 too.Also, they don't show what they have charged you for the food you ordered, they just let you know the total amount and that's it.Honesty is 0 and all!!!

This place should be renamed Desi Diarrhoea! Will not eat from here ever again, we spent over £100 on food last week and all of us had food poisoning afterwards. We believe the meat we had was old and the cause of the food poisoning. My advice is stay away if you value your health.

Have been a couple of times. Amazing customer service. There is a waitress who has been working here for quite a long time and is an absolute sweetheart everytime I come here. The food is a 10/10 too. Not one bad thing to say.

They do some excellent desi food, there are many Karahies to choose from, good taste and reasonably priced!

Amazing Pakistani food. A must try when you're in Birmingham.. Desi Dera surprisingly delivers best on service, quality, quantity and taste.. I had ordered Lamb Biryani (6/10), Lamb Tikka Karahi (9/10) and Mix Grill (9/10)The restaurant has got its own parking to top it off.. Will definitely come back again.👍👍👍

The lady European worker needs a raise. She totally deserves manager spot as she was the only one actually doing most of the work and taking care of customers. The rest of the staff more happy to slowly stand around. Was over charged by £4 which was silly. Food is only mediocre, not fantastic but not horrible either. I had a crawling insect on a piece of ginger in my curry which had just come fresh from the kitchen, it was still moving! Giving it a high rating only for that female staff member as she was so nice and helpful.

Well I spent 25Pounds last night 21:35 (the guy with broken foot if u guy remember me) , so except the ''roties'' the maghaz ( old and warmed up no taste ) seekh kebab ( bitter taste , the mince was off ) fries ( which was in fryer for may be an hour , warmed up and given ) mint sauce ( off again ) salad which the might made in the day time n left it in the open , I was struck in home for more than a week cause of my broken foot ,came out to get a good food to and look what i end up getting a i thrown the whole thing in trash , tried calling them the good thing they don't even pick their bloody fone either
