Evergreen Chinese and Cantonese Takeaway in Birmingham

Driver arrived in half the estimated time but wouldn't wait for me to come downstairs and take delivery. My friend had answered the door quickly but the delivery driver promptly left!

The food is very nice,always the same taste and standard just one star lost because the young boy who takes the order has little customer skills.

I reviewed the Evergreen a year ago and gave it 5 stars. Unfortunately it has gone ‘watery’. The dishes have no flavour. What’s happened? The different spices have gone and everything tastes the same with light watery sauces. Very disappointed as we will have to find another. What a shame.

Bought 8 chicken wings from this place. Only 7 in the box. Nuff said apart from get a card machine. No excuse nowadays apart from a tax dodge.

Eating here since I was a nipper and the quality has not dropped. Nostalgic whenever I order.

Been using this takeaway for 16 months when I moved into the area, food has been excellent except this evening I had beef chow mei and the beef was really chewy which is most unusual

Rude staff whether the child who answers weekend or adult ! Clearly upset driver as down to one driver. I used to order every wknd under £50 food for my family quoted last week 1.5hrs took 2 and was cold - no sympathy when I complained and decided I will show with my feet - your not the only Chinese on the block 👋🏼

the person who answered the phone had no manners. When ordering my food i asked for noodles he kept telling me telling me what it consisted of. After going back and forth for almost 3 minutes about thees "NOODLES" he said and i quote " make up your mind i am too busy"...absolute cheek of him never will i spend my money with this ignorant place again.... ps learn to communicate in English as it seems you dont know how to.

I begrudgingly use this Chinese as it's the only option in Moseley in walking distance. Rude staff, who would find please and thank you would go a long way. Food is also mediocre, marginally better than the customer service.

I ate at this Chinese Take Away for many years. Recently, we placed an order for delivery. We received our order in good time however, when I received the food I found a long hair in my food. I phoned up the restaurant and they were not helpful in resolving the issue and said they could not do anything until the next day. We will not be ordering here again.
