First time going after booking a "Too Good Too Go" bag. The quantity of food; i was stuffed. So much value for money in the boxes. Would obviously have liked more meat as i only got 3 slices. The quality of the food was good too. Fresh and hot. Would go again

Our waitress many was amazing very professional and made sure our food was perfect for us. Food was nice. Meat was tasty would eat here again.

Nice food and atmosphere as always.This time some of the food was slightly burnt from the grill but it was really busy in the pub and also my previous experience was always good so I can accept this little issue as an accident due to the lot of customers.Highly recommended!

Nice pub warm with welcoming staff. Met Mandy today who was lovely. Food very tasty not a long wait, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his carvery. Can't do half * so had to give 4* would have been 5* had the plates with hot food been much warmer. On the whole we would recommend The Old House At Home.

We went here to the wacky side, place was very dirty. A couple let their child pee in a cup and on the floor and left it on the table. Along with the tissue used to wipe some of the floor, staff didn't do nothing when we told them. Well they picked the tissue up with no gloves then proceeded to cut cake for other customers. Pure filth. And was well over capacity. No table or chairs to sit, stood entire time. Was not good at all.

Good service from the staff and very tasty food. Good selection of drinks and food. Outdoor area at the front with a good TV to watch sports and plenty of seating. There's also plenty of parking.

Family friendly staff, resonably priced, good cho8ces on menu, comfortable, pleasant toilets, great atmosphere

Had a lovely experience at lunchtime today.Accessed the pub with a young lady with autism. Asked if we could sit in a quiet area. Staff were very helpful. I had problems with the app (my own fault!)Took our order at the table. Food was lovely and hot and arrived in nice time.Thanks to Hallie and Luke.

Lovley place great for kids as there is a play area attached food is realy nice and desserts are banging 👌 great friendly staff.

UPDATE: Staff replied below but glossed over the terrible quality of the food and replacement gammon. If rating the food alone I would have left 1 star. I have given three because the staff are friendly and professional. We had a carvery for my mothers birthday yesterday which was absolutely atrocious. The only edible things on the plate were the meat and cauliflower. The Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes were as dry and chewy as cardboard. The mash potato and gravy each had the texture of wallpaper paste. The only green veg on offer was sprouts, which I hate (along with cauliflower) so had no option of alternative greens. I had to ask for a replacement meal, my mother should have but she didn't want to be a bother. The staff said the food is "checked" every half an hour, but I would love to know what exactly it's checked for? It had clearly been sat under the heat lamp most of the day, resulting in the cardboard texture. They replaced my mothers Yorkshire pudding with another from the same batch, so the were equally as bad, (logic?). I was given a gammon meal as a replacement and that was also atrocious. The gammon "steak" was only as thick as a £1 coin , burned to a char and stringy with fat. I had a tiny portion of chips which doesn't make up for help-yourself carvery. In the end the birthday meal was ruined and we all left hungry, including my two year old toddler who was starving after the wacky. (she turned her nose up at the terrible food also). Suffice it to say, we won't be eating here again - which is a shame because the other services on offer here are great.
