Han Dynasty in Birmingham

A very nice restaurant but it is NOT called Han Dynasty, so trying to find it was confusing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ensure you get the full menu as we were only give a noodle menu on arrival, and only found out there was a full menu when we were ready to leave. Noodle dishes are huge so don't over order.

This restaurant is now call Yue Xin after a change of ownership. They serve wonderful and authentic dim sum during lunchtime, with generous portions and good value to boot.I went for dinner last night, and had their Chinese Soup of the Day (made with special ingredients imported from China), and a Belly Pork & Yam Casserole with Boiled Rice. Everything was delicious, and the service was both attentive and warm too.I highly recommend that you give this place a try. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed!

Food is above average. Better than other popular Chinese restaurants in China town. Worth a go.

Pros: the meal was delicious and piping hot. The vegetable spring rolls were fresh and scrumptious. The restaurant was clean and well kept.We were well looked after.Cons: there is definitely a language barrier when booking over the phone and when ordering in house. This is did not put a downer on our meal as it was very tasty.

Most authentic Chinese food in Birmingham. Try ordering this secret dish, exclusive on Monday’s ONLY: sweet crispy pork. Don’t dare to order anything else. Paired with the perfect service.

Fantastic restaurant, large food portions and rich menu choices. I've been a loyal customer all through out my university years! Fresh food full of flavour and great table service, I would recommend hot pot (it's an all you can eat including beef, lamb and sea food).Very affordable prices. When I visit Birmingham, this restaurant is my first choice!

I love the fact that you get your own pot of soup so you don’t mix with your parties and you can also choose your own soup base. It’s very affordable for an all you can eat hot pot. Great customer service, the owner was so friendly and accommodating. The only negative thing I found here was that they don’t have a great selection of toppings and I noticed some items weren’t as fresh anymore (mostly vegetables as well). Nonetheless it’s still a great spot to pig out with your friends.

Ordered from this restaurant couple times before and noticed that they tend put too many chillies in their dishes and this time I have specifically asked and left a note asking for no chillies to be put in my dish. To my surprise not only they have put chillies in it, but it was very excessive completely ruining the dish. The food there in general is not too bad, but failing to commit to customers requests is a big problem especially for a restaurant.
