Was staying at Holiday Inn Expres Snow Hill, who's only evening meal was fish and chips!!Found this gem on Google maps 6mins away. Was busy, even on a Weds night (good sign!), but was quickly shown to a table. Some great drinks on tap - had a pint of Beavertown neck oil while food was being prepared. Food was excellent (garlic nan and chicken jalfrezi) - good portion, full of taste and right amount of kick. Service was friendly and pub had nice atmosphere.Highly recommended.

Just be warned that this place has a small note on its website well below the booking section that says NO KIDS ALLOWED UNDER 10. I drove 56 miles based on a friends review and was turned away at the door. Two staff and 6 customers in at the time. Im gutted was genuinely looking forward to this.

The curry was incredible. Hot, tasty and fresh. Decent price too. Naan bread superb...Knocked a star off as thought drinks were expensive, plus we were sat in the front bit of the pub which was a bit cold. Nicer (and warmer) rooms at the back...

Food was incredible!!! Came out quickly, well prices and above all, absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are generous as well. Bar staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. The pub-vibe makes it very relaxed. The only thing is, if you have a bad back, or are a bigger person, you might wanna ring ahead and book a booth/sofa seat. The tables are very small and close together, so it does very much feel like you are sat with people you don't know. The stools are also quite low (and I am only 5ft) so if you've got a jacket/bag with you, there isn't really anywhere to put it. - I can only speak for the restaurant section of the pub! There is loads of room and proper seating on the other side of you're just going for drinks.Overall, it was great, and I definitely will be going again and recommending to others!!

Cracking curry house. We asked at the Wolf pub for a recommendation expecting a few...he just pointed over the round at this place. Was reassuringly busy. The ordering system was a tick sheet which we filled in before we sat down. The food was excellent & plenty. We even tried to get in the next night (Sat) but was fully booked.

Ok curry nothing to sing and dance about . Paneer korma starter great, cod curry and the chilli paneers not so tastey. Staff great though , can’t do enough for you , great atmosphere although TV,s are a bit distracting . Oh and the naan where great.

Totally lived up to the hype - superb service, fabulous food, generous portions, a huge range of drinks, brilliant atmosphere and great value for money. Just go!

The best curry in Birmingham, in my view. I’ve been twice over the summer with family and really enjoyed the food, as have they. The butter chicken is fantastic as is the saag paneer. Service is very good - quick and friendly. I love the old pub feel at the front and I love the area, so it scores on every count for me. I’ll be going back.

Cozy place with a great bar and attention to detail! Our visit was on a night before the lockdown. It was easy to find the place, and once we went inside, we saw that it was a small but comfortable, well-lit place.Ambience: The lighting was nice, and although they serve Indian cuisine, the interiors had a rustic British feel to them.Seating: The seating may seem cramped to some, but this was before the lockdown, so it didn't seem that problematic to us, especially because everything else worked out well. If the smaller tables are separated out a bit more, it'd have been better though.Food: We ordered a couple of starters and some main course. All of those were great. The menu is not large or extensive, but it offered everything required for an appetizing and relaxing experience.Drinks: The bar is big, relative to the overall size of the place. The standard choice of drinks was available, and the bartender had some good suggestions for what goes well with the food they offer.Service: The staff all appeared to be knowledgeable about the menu, and the orders were served fast enough (the place was crowded so we expected some delay anyway).Overall it was a great dining experience, complemented by the fact that it's the first restaurant I visited in Birmingham!
