I think I can quite honestly say that Ruben offered some of the nicest, attentive and just genuine waiter service that we've likely received! He was absolutely brilliant, which added to our experience because the food was also great! The crabcakes were crabby lol, so lots of crab in there and fresh flavours... the wings were meaty, saucy and quite sumptuous... my main of the breaded cod with the grits, omg 😍 the sauce that was underlining all of that was sensational! My friend had the meatballs and perhaps that was a bit of a letdown as that didnt pack all of that flavour like the other dishes... I tries to finish it but the meat was a little too rare for me... the truffle and parmesan fries were lovely... lastly the pecan pie with toffee sauce and ice cream was 🤤😍... I can't wait to go back - really plush settings that transport you out of Birmingham and into a fancy New York eatery!

There is no way of hiding the fact you are in the basement. Nothing really wrong with it but no atmosphere there and nothing in comparison to the ambiance of the bar upstairs. The lady serving us was lovely though and really knew everything behind the bar.

We came for dinner for the first time for our anniversary on Thursday, the restaurant is so beautiful. Even walking to the toilets feels super fancy, everything looks great and in a weird way, makes you feel like you're on holiday walking through the lobby part - which I love. The food was excellent, all staff were so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back, well worth the money.

We popped in to Isaacs as we were staying at the Grand hotel above. The barman was fantastic, considering my partners drink request and providing her his own take on it, which was honestly amazing. He was very passionate about his craft and it showed. My bloody Mary was also perfect. I realise this is more a credit to him and the hotel's hiring team as he really was brilliant. The decor and ambiance was also lovely and I would definitely recommend it for a few drinks if you enjoy your cocktails.

Dissapointing from the start.Restaurant area had two tables in use when we got there, the host went to seat us on a small table wedged between booths and I asked if we could have a booth and she said we couldn't because they were reserved, but when we booked online there was no choice to reserve booths. Other customers (also couples) arrived and were seated at the booths, even one person dining alone. As for the food, it was not worth the money, burger was plain and luke warm, hotdog wasn't great either. We were planning on dessert but skipped it because everything else was not good.Service was okay, nice interior but was the first and last time we will go there.

Fantastic! The atmosphere is great, very good vibe. All the staff that served us were brilliant, our table waiter was really professional. The cocktails were superb, Cosmopolitan and Manhattan (asked how I wanted it (dry)), top marks for the cocktail service! The house red was perfectly adequate. The wife had chicken (full of flavour and juicy) and I the Rib-eye steak, which probably one of the best I've eaten globally. The chips properly hot and super crispy.Thank you for making a superb birthday night experience.

Great food selection and really tastefully decorated. Our waitress was super attentive and made sure we enjoyed our time as Issacs. No fillet steak, but the New York strip was good.

An excellent place. A great venue with some wonderful visualsWe went for lunch, and the food and service were top class.I had the Pork Ribs to start, which had a wonderful kick to them, my wife had the Prawn Cocktail. My main course was the Rib Eye Burger which was brilliantly cooked,,and very juicy, while my wife had the Veal Escalope..Will definitely return.

Nice environment and atmosphere..starters were amazing… I had hot dog for main but was a bit too much for me so wouldn’t have it again but would definitely go back again and try other food on the menu

Really great meal at this American style restaurant - great service and a great menu. We really enjoyed the cod and the baked Alaska were fantastic!
