All I can say is, wow!Now the food was good don’t get me wrong but the service and friendliness of the staff and proprietors could not be beaten. Just genuinely lovely people who cook good food.I will mention a few things that I will not take stars off for but are useful to know.1. It’s kind of hidden away and a bit hard to find, think it’s actually better if you don’t walk the canal way from new street station.2. The drinks are quite expensive, not cafe prices at all. (Glass of house white £8, coke £3.50)3. They add a 10% service charge which we didn’t mind as the service was amazing but it didn’t seem to be discretionary for people that may not agree or only have the money for what they consumed, which I don’t like. I understand why they do it as some people don’t think it’s necessary to tip good service but I think tipping for service should be something you decide yourself and how much depending on how happy you are with it. That being said, I probably would have tipped more than 10% if they hadn’t of waked that on and they fully deserve 5 stars. So lovely to not have to cook on Mother’s Day and still get a delicious home cooked roast.

Food was alright, but they made us wait for an hour as I guess the kitchen was understaffed. Had to drink a few drinks to keep the growling tummy down. During the hour the owner just bothered to come to our table once and inform the food is on the way which it did promptly show up half an hour later. And they even charged a service charge for really below mediocre service. It's alright for food but if you ever see more than two tables sitting in, be prepared to wait for an hour for your food.

This place has the most friendly, welcoming staff! The coffee is excellent as is the food, we had sausage egg and chips and it was as expected. Great place and would deffo recommend.

First time going and it was a lovely experience. Even though they were understaffed we received quick service and our food/drinks came out in no time. The vegan nachos were delicious and the portion was very generous for one person! Staff were very friendly and the decor is lovely. I'd happily pop in again if I was in the area again.

My daughter and I had breakfast a Ju Jus. Set on the canal side, it's a nice place to have a coffee or something to eat. We both ordered the eggs Benedict on the breakfast menu and wasn't disappointed. The service was friendly, but it took a little longer for our food to be served. Apart from that I'd recommend Ju Jus, and can't wait to go back to try something new.

I am not sure if Sunday roasts are just not their thing, but it was less than below average. I had veggie option and except cabbage, nothing else was good. Cauliflower cheese was not cooked enough (was very hard) and had no taste. We’ve waited more than 40 minutes for our food and service was overall slow.

I have been visiting Ju Ju's for the last 7 years and their customer service hasn't changed one bit. They are available by phone or email: Julia and Beatrice are superb hosts. They literally see every customer as an individual with different requirements and they try to meet those needs 110%. For example they fulfilled my wish of wanting the cod without the beer batter and cooked a full veggie brunch meal + pancakes at 6:30 dinner time when they usually stop serving brunch at 4pm. I will never stop going here and raving about them to friends and family if this wonderful service continues. Thank you Ju Ju's. x

First time me and my friends went here for breakfast on a Saturday afternoon, the seating and service was quick and the food was great (picture shown)Second experience on a Sunday morning, was terrible - arrived and waited about 5/10 minutes to be seated, we was seated around 11am and was told there is a 40 minutes wait on food which didn't sound too bad at first especially if we can get drinks first and relax in the sun. Only to then realise, we had waited nearly an hour to even order our food and drinks! Provided we were sitting in the sun (where temperature reached 26°C in Birmingham last weekend) we didn't get a drink for atleast another 15/20 minutes after placing order. And then the wait for our breakfast continued... coming up to nearly 2 hours we had been sitting there, waiting... The food is finally served 3 out of the 4 orders came out fine however my friends toasts were completely burnt! When asked for a couple of unburnt normally toasted bread, my friend had to wait another 15/20 minutes which was quite frustrating for her. Only once we had nearly finished our food, were the new toasts given to her. 🤦🏻♀️Overall, it's decent/clean place run by nice people that serves good food but avoid on a Sunday!! (Unless you don't mind waiting 2 hours for breakfast) 😩

Very nice restaurant next to the canal and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The best fish and chips can be found here - served fresh and generously portioned. Roast pork belly is another favourite - perfectly tender with illegally crispy crackling.

Went to Ju Ju’s for the first time today for Sunday roast. We had chicken and beef and both were very delicious. The atmosphere is really relaxing. The people working there are extremely welcoming and nice, making sure each guest is happy! You can definitely tell they are passionate about their cute place! I’d definitely go back and try more things fromThe menu! Thank you so much for the hospitality!
