khans karahi & Grill House in Birmingham

Had to wait 40 mins for a take away dish which was wrongly packed. Went back and they kept the dish(which I think was very wrong & unethical as they might serve it to someone else and not that I done anything to it but not all people are like me) handed me my original order and no mention of any compensation for my two trips and loss of time. A very busy place but needs proper management.

Amazing food, best curry I’ve had in years. So fresh, took a while to cook but you can tell why. Not just reheated but felt like it was made from scratch. Price was great. No alcohol which was fine.

Very nice food. Large Mix grill was awesome. We also ordered fish pakoras, 2x fries, 3 naan, lamb curry and 3 can of drink. Not bad for £43

Their food was great. The Cod Fish Karhai is my absolute favorite, specially with the mint sauce, and the Seekh Kebab were good too. I’ve also tried their Chargha and Masala Fish, both of which were tasty.And while the food here is always good, their service is the problem. The lady serving us was very hospitable but there is a lack of coordination between the kitchen and the servers as they seem understaffed.Also, they only accept cash, so if you are used to paying by card, make sure to carry cash when going here.

Went here with couple of the lads. Food was amazing, really tasty and fresh. Price was fantastic. We had the large mix grill along with the half and half curry. This is the first time I've been here but my friends have been a number of times. Would highly recommend

Worst lamb Karachi in my life! Not even desi style with no curry sauce! It was extremely dry and lamb tasted stale! Avoid at all costs. Chicken pokra were microwaved warm and not even fresh! The only decent item was the salad and fries!Think twice before going there! Also they refused to take card payment! I had to tell them the post office across the road ATM machine was out of order! The staff sit on the same tables as the customer tables to eat their lunch which is really rude and very unprofessional!The men make you feel so uncomfortable as they stare like they do in Pakistani & IndiaThe restaurant hygiene is 0/10. Curry and drink stains on seating area! Dyson hand dryers have mould! Disgusting!! 🤢

Would of put 0 stars but cant. The new management is a joke. The staff are useless. Booked a table 3 separate times and get there for them to say no tables and we are late. It happens all the time. A simple excuse used all the time. Customer service is appauling. NOT RECOMMENDED. Ive seen a school canteen run better than this.

Meat chops were little hard, place was very cold specially underneath the stairs, lady who was serving was very friendly but looked like place was understaff and their service wasn't aligned with the kitchen as our Karhai was on the tabke for good 5 minutes amd roti, naan weren't ready. Karhai was delicious Bhindi (okra/lady finger) wasn't as good as I've eaten before. Mixing water with hand-wash and leaving rubbish bins right next to the table does not give good impression, also toilet doors needs auto close mechanism, restaurant is big compare to other Asian cuisines and there's room for improvement.

I’ve been to this place many years back and had visited recently when they have expanded,The waiting period was decent for a table of 8 and the food came hot and after a 15 minute wait, the vibe and the staff waiters are welcoming and checked up on us to see everything was okay I would definitely recommendParking will be at a distance as it’s a busy road.
