Incredible place, food was outstanding especially given it was unlimited, £28 for all you can eat with very high quality food. Can't ask for much more than that really

Been a few times before pandemic. Menu has changed and prices have increased for the buffet.Buffet selection has decreased and you now order 2 items (as opposed to upto 5) per person, hover the portion sizes have doubled. You can order "unlimited" sides.The quality of the food is good, but certain things have gone, such as steak and duck. Salmon and some prawn dishes are still available. Lots of chicken dishes.We as a family use to look forward to visiting there, but the price increase and, more importantly, the selection of dishes were disappointing.Service was good and dishes did come out at a good pace. Not sure if it's worth the price anymore.

We always enjoy coming here for the all you can eat menu. We’ve enjoyed the updated menu to give more variety. The staff continue to be friendly and prompt, and the food is wonderfully fresh and very tasty. The all you can eat menu is fantastic value for money. Our favourite dishes are the sushi nigiri and rolls (luxury set), avocado and seaweed salad, gyoza, and sweet buns. It’s our favourite Japanese restaurant in Birmingham.

Really delicious sushi, brilliant service and just a great atmosphere. A little on the expensive side but to be honest it is well worth the price. A must visit!

Some of the best sushi and Japanese dining in Birmingham. I've been visiting Kyoto since it opened and recommend it to all of my friends. We tried the new sharer menu on this visit, the options were great and service quick as usual. If you haven't been, go.

Used to love Kyoto before lockdown. Since they reopened, the quality is still high but they increased their prices and introduced the new all you can eat formula which in my opinion doesn’t work very well. First of all, there is a limit of 2 dishes per round, which is quite restrictive and makes the wait time quite long.Also everything on the menu is now a mixture of different types of sushi/hot dishes and if you only like 1 of let’s say the 5 different type of things on the plate, you are either obligated to eat even the things you don’t like, or not order it at all.I used to prefer when everything on the menu was separate and you could order different things.

Tried the new menu from reopening in Jan 2022. Sushi and dishes were all superb quality with plenty of choice on the unlimited menu and a 2.5 hour slot is more than enough. Price is OK at £25.50 but the compulsory 10% service charge is just a hidden way of hiding the full price. Would recommend but Kyoto just be honest with your price and don't try hiding the full price under service charge

Omg I must say it was our first family outing since covid. Yes we was going to do the all you can eat. But they had to change the menu Abit but they didn't disappoint us at all. The staff was so friendly and even explained everything to us. The environment was clean and tidy and welcoming. The plum wine was so yummy and so was the sushi. The bento boxes. Well... U can see for yourself. Full of colour and the flavours was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
