Brilliant staff, very thoughtful and friendly service. Followed social distancing guidelines perfectly. Chef made perfectly spiced curry and was very friendly. Couldn't ask for better evening! Thank you!

Excellent genuine Indian restaurant established and run by the owner since the early 1970's. The food is presented by friendly efficient staff and the flavor is unmatched locally. This is well worth visiting.

We had a great meal there yesterday. Great Service and even better food. Lots of vegetarian choice and we felt the dishes had its unique taste (not always the case).Prompt 5 star and will definitely visit again if in the area.🙂

We went to this restaurant last night. We didn’t book but they managed to find us a table. The service was brilliant, the restaurant is nicely decorated and the menu is clear. The food - wow - all 4 of us said that it was probably the best curry that we’ve ever had. We had a variety of dishes and they all tasted so good.I would happily go back and recommend this place to anyone - well worth the visit! 10/10.

Wasn't crowded early evening, spotted several tables who like us were off to the hippodrome. Polite, pleasant service, good food, plenty of saag in the lamb saagwalla and nicely spiced to compliment rather than compete with the flavours. Portion size perfect for us. Locals were ordering takeaways as well which is always a good sign.

I visited Maharaja last night with friends and simply loved it. Their cook from haryana , all staff including Raj and Geeta were amazing and very welcoming. Loved the food. BBQ platters, veg, chicken every dish had it's proper taste. Would highly recommend

Staff were very attentive and the food was fast, fresh and very tasty. Great location to eat at if staying in a hotel nearby. Only thing is I would like them to put the menu on the website.

With a friend visiting from America. Made reservations for 8pm arrived at 7:55pm. Not seated until 8:20pm. Told to wait at bar. Seated at table finally. Some time before order taken. Placed order for 2nd drink. Had to ask 3 times about drinks before receiving. Sat there while at least 4 sets of diners were served. Walked out of restaurant at 9:40 pm without meal ever arriving at our table. Felt totally ignored and disrespected. Felt bad for my host who wanted the whole evening to be special. Have traveled worldwide and this is the absolute worse restaurant experience i have ever had. Expected so much more from this highly touted restaurant. Will spread the word about the inept service and poor treatment. N.B we were the only BLACK diners in Majaraja. So sad. Actually tragic.

Good food, service needs some improvement. Service charge what the restaurant charging is totally unacceptable in respect of current service standard's. How come you are charging service charge when advertising saying NO SERVICE CHARGE!. Should report to traditing standard's agency.
