Somewhere I spent a lot of time as a student 20 odd years ago. Went there again the other night for an Aston uni reunion. Was ok but the night was more about the memories!

Great service. Food quality was low. The lamb used in curries was actually mutton, quite hard to chew. The taste was basic. Would probably not go again, even though the service was really good

Good food, but a little expensive. Service can be inconsistent. I've been here twice with good food on both times and unpredictable service. Probably will return

Went here for a meal last week with friends. Quite possibly the nicest food I've had in an Indian restaurant in all the years I've eaten curries, and that includes two years when I lived in the balti triangle. Staff are really friendly and helpful too. Loved it.

Traditional balti house. I had a fantastic late meal after a night out to see the German Market. The meal was served in the traditional balti dish, everthing was tasty and fresh. It was only slighly let down by no draught beer. Come on guys get Cobra back on tap. Great food always at Manzils, five stars.

Went on a Sunday, good portions, had leftovers to enjoy. Chill atmosphere, good food, nice evening dinner date.

Delicious Indian curries and naan bread at great prices! The lamb biryani definitely tops all the dishes, by far the best biryani I've ever had.The sauces for popaddom were fantastic, nice sweet spicy sauce.Absolutely huge samosas, both vegetarian and meat ones are great with a little spicy kick.I wouldn't recommend the bahji as it's a little dry and taste not particularly outstanding. The restaurant is conveniently located in city centre. Would recommend for people who want to try balti in Birmingham.

Nice meal. Friendly service. The somosas were large and meaty, the rice was properly cooked and not sticky, the lamb was a bit on the sweet side, sag paneer had plenty of paneer cheese.

The staff here are very polite and friendly. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by the Mongoose beer. Very refreshing. Also the chef can altar most dishes to suit your taste, just tell them what you like and they will do their best to accommodate your requests.
