Chips are horrible. Definately new owners, can't get chips right. When I use to go to this chippy I would ask for fresh chips only to be given left overs chips are horrible. I've stopped going to this chippy. They love to take your money but give you nice chips. I've stopped going to this chippy not worth my money.

New owners took over and the food does not taste the same plus It always leaves me with an upset stomach. Person who served me last gave me some chips that were not fresh they were warm. I refused them and asked for fresh chips. Then a couple came in after me and ordered, he gave them the chips he tried to give to me and didn't bat an eyelid. Would not recommend at all.

Sadly this was a terrible fish and chips. I was recommended this place but it has since changed owners. I ordered a simple Large Cod & Chips. The fish was inedible. It was over cooked and tasted awful. Even the chips were really disappointing! This place can’t even cut potatoes right. Sadly I won’t be visiting my local chippy again

Visited sevenish on a Friday. The chips were merely dark gritty pieces of stale batter. The fish could have been fresher. This place needs to quality control the output and cook things fresh.

Disgusting woman refused to give me fresh chips after returning a cold crusty overcooked bag of chips my husband brought from her. She also accused me of eating them. I'm put off from ever eating there again. She was careless, rude and demeaning. Stay away from this place. They can't even make basic chips and blame you for their slacking.

Went here on a Friday night. The chips were brown, hard and dry. I’m not sure they were even 3% potato. Don’t get me started on the curry sauce - luke warm, lumpy (given to us in a paper coffee cup) and about two tea spoons worth in there. So disappointed. Never going here again.

Absolutely awful, 5 minutes before she turned around to notice us. Tried to charge £4.20 for tinned roe, the price was listed against haddock clearly. The roe was out of date and rancid, absolutely cold. The chips were slimy and undercooked. Staff don't wear hair nets, their clothes are covered in batter, they have no idea what they're doing. AVOID

Ordered a simple portion of chips from this place, but what I was given was brown (burnt) pieces of potato which were also not cooked. I have no idea how they can burn and undercook chips all at the same time, It's obviously a skill of theirs.

No idea what's happened to this place recently. Used to be my favourite chippy in Birmingham, but it seems to have changed hands recently and now the quality of service has gone through the floor. Me and another customer spent 15-20 minutes waiting for a single portion chips each, while both members of staff prepared a single large order from start to finish. He even the other customer's order wrong (a small instead of a regular... how?!) and didn't correct it when questioned. For the customer before that, it took 6 explanations for him to understand what a "quarter pounder" burger was (it had to be read to him as "the top one, that says 1 slash 4 L B").The previous owner served orders three times as fast and he was usually on his own! Not sure what takes the new staff so much time, as my chips weren't even wrapped properly (a single sheet of paper with no lining, so grease went everywhere). I sincerely hope that I'm wrong about the change of ownership and that the previous guy will be back from an extended holiday very soon. Such a shame.

Decent food. But the light outside the shop has broken, I live in the flats opposite and it’s like a f—-king rave at night. It’s been going on for months. When you’re charging so much for a bag of bog standard chips you’d think you’d be able to afford to change the light bulbs outside your shop
