Went in to buy some Chapatti, as I left the store I realised one was incredibly stale and hard compared to the others, that were soft and fresh. I'm heavily pregnant and don't appreciate stale/off food, especially when it's my baby that will be eating it. Went back into store to complain only to be told I ordered the Chapatti to be served cold, so because of this "they're all hard". No, like I said, majority were soft and fresh but you tried passing off your leftovers too, thinking I would'nt notice. Your server then offered me "fresh Chapatti instead". This is what you should be giving to me in the bloody first place. All the customers in the shop were appalled by this.Very disgusted by this service, my family have been coming to this shop for over 40 years. If not for the valued customer, you wouldn't have a business to run. I will also be contacting the Food Standards Agency, we pay you for fresh food not stale leftovers you think you can slyly give away to customers. This also goes for your samosas too, not just your chapattis.

Brought 4 boxes of 35 Pani Puri £4.50 each on 23rd Dec to enjoy on Christmas day.Much to my amaze I should have had 140 Pani Puri and there were 18 Missing. Was very disappointed as we all sat there with a box each and every box had some missing.I called today to inform them of this and an assist apologies and that's it.I explained to her if this was in Tesco or Waitrose I would've gone to consumers rights. But as you're a small business I didn't want to. She said she will tell her boss and it must have happened because we are soooo busy.We have always had delicious vegetarian food everytime we've been.I will still carry on going to Milan Sweet Centre when I'm in the area as I live over an hour away.

Ordered samosas, that were freshly cooked after I placed my order. The samosas were delicious. Very friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone who likes vegetarian food.

It is such a shame that the owner left a bitter taste in my mouth. I usually order samosas monthly there for a long time however today, I was told that per 5 samosas you only get 1 sauce. The pots were not even filled up. Cutting down on things that your customers want will not help your business in this pandemic. As it is us that will recommend you to friends/events (especially if 1 of them works in PR)Time to find elsewhere.

I read some of the reviews with trepidation as I'd been a regular customer since they opened, but now only occasionally, particularly when my daughter from Wales comes to stay, three or four times a year and she always asks for "a Milan". They even catered my wedding in 2005. Fortunately I was not disappointed, the food was of the high standard I had come to expect over the last 45 years! I've purchased similar food from most of my local takeaways and The Milan has always been my preferred go to for taste and quality. I've happily met and conversed with three generations of this family run business, always happy to engage with their customers and in my experience the food and service has never been one of disappointment. Five star review for five star food and five star value for money.

ROTTEN FOOD!!!!So disappointed with their food and customer services. Been a loyal customer for 20yrs and now will never step a foot inside that place again. Bought a tub of Rasmalai which was so off that a one bite made us feel sick. What was even worse was a lack of concern, defensive, uncaring and rude customer services from Milans when contacted to make them aware. Shocking!!!!

My family have been coming here for over 20 years and the service has always been hit and miss but the food was always good! Today this changed….I was met with the worst customer service ever received after a 45 minute wait in a disorganised queue. The male employee did not listen and kept interrupting me. I understand that he was busy but directed his frustration at me! He then proceeded to tell me about the carrier bag charge and how I’d be charged extra for sauce…I didn’t ask for extra sauce or for a carrier bag?!? After receiving my order and travelling home I open the samosas to find that they were all burnt! Back to the shop we go and tell a female employee only for her response to be ā€˜I told him not to serve those samosas’ How have you let these leave the shop? The male employee then tells me they aren’t burnt!! Really - are you the customer or am I? I think I know the quality of the product as I’ve been eating it for years! Unfortunately other customers also commented on the male employees rudeness and lack of customer service. This experience has now left me looking for alternatives as I do not feel that the food makes up for the poor customer service any longer!

Worst samosas in the world . I gave them another chance thinking last time could be accidental. But again I had bitter experience from this sweet shop. I don’t recommend them. I bought some fried samosa and some non-fried . The fried samosas were burnt ;I wish I opened the bag and saw them in the shop. And the non fried samosa pastry was as thin as it was ripping . Bought them to serve for guests but could not as the aalu would be coming out from the wholes .Also aalu filling tasted bland and looked disgusting . I thing they have enough chances and won’t be going back again .
