Miller and Carter Mailbox in Birmingham

Truly great experience, the Chef's Cut Ribeye was among the best steak I've eaten. Lovely venue, pretty quiet, and great ámbiénce. Only a short walk from nearby locations like the 02 Academy. Would absolutely go again.

We celebrate my partners birthday. The food was amazing and we were so pampered! The staff were so smiley and kind, just made up our night. Definitely recommend!

Our first visit here on a Sunday lunchtime but not without some hesitancy given recent poor experiences at their other branches.However we left having our best M&C experience to date. In fact, the only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the room. Our friendly and helpful waitress (Zowie?) was on the ball, and the kitchen delivered the steaks as requested. A very enjoyable meal and our new favourite. M&C.

The room temperature always feels colder than other steakhouses which does affect my enjoyment of the meal.The waiting time to be served after we were seated was longer than expected.We ordered the 26oz Butcher's Block. It was delicious, highly recommended.The fillet steak did lack taste but all were cooked perfectly.The rump was surprisingly one of the best pieces!Overall the experience was good but there is definitely room for improvement.

First time at this chain of restaurants, and it didn't Dissapoint. Relaxing atmosphere, no fuss just good food. If you want a special treat for a special occasion , this is a great choice. Its worth finding out exactly how the menu works, different sauce's etc.Our food was delicious. What more do you want.

Amazing steak as always. I like my steak medium well (not to everyone's taste I know) and a lot of places just can't cook it that way, it's either dry or tough and sometimes both. Miller and Carter however never seem to have a problem, always juicy and tender. Service great even though they were very busy there was always someone available to get anything you needed.

This was my first time visiting Miller and Carter and it was a nice experience. We had the steak experience and my steak was cooked perfectly to my liking - the only criticism I have about this fish was the salad they provided for the "lighter option" which was without chips. The salad was mostly lettuce and very few of any other vegetable, there was a bit too much dressing and cheese sprinkled on top. I then had a creme brule for dessert and it was nice but I would have liked more caramelized sugar on top it was a bit sparse.The service at Miller and Carter was fantastic we had a brilliant waitress who was very attentive and welcoming. Definitely enhanced the whole experience.The interior of Miller and Carter was ok but I felt it was a bit dated and could do with a refresh as a whole.If you like steak I would recommend Miller and Carter but there are just a few improvements needed to take my rating higher.

Visiting a friend in Birmingham for the weekend, we wanted to have a nice meal and we've previously visited this Miller & Carter a few years back and it was excellent.Party of 3, we tried to book the table about an hour before making our way to city centre, however the website would not allow us to. We thought we'd give walk in a shot & they had an available table so very glad about that!I had the Grain Fed Ribeye which was excellent, the Truffle Mac & Cheese and Halloumi Fries were perfectly cooked also. Not too heavy of a meal, great wine.The waiter we had was also very attentive, clear & welcoming. Would recommend this for an evening meal for a cosy small catch up or date night.

Great location with a lovely view. Staff are attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, we went with a recommendation from one of the servers for our main and it definitely paid off. Perhaps slightly higher priced for some steaks but lots of choices and price points to suit. One of the best steaks we've had, making this steakhouse a new firm favourite of ours. Looking forward to our next visit already.

10th July 2021:What an amazing dinner meal and evening we had here with our friends, wow!The 30 day aged fillet steak, the glazed chicken burger, the barbecue smoky spare ribs and my pork fillet wrapped in bacon were out of this world, totally delicious and superb!!!Our puddings were equally delicious, yummy and outstanding..."Classic Crème Brûlée", "Peach, Mango and Passionfruit Eton Mess" andBig thanks to all the chefs and kitchen team, well done!Our drinks: From the house Chardonnay, the Merlot, the house Cider on tap to my CHIEFTAIN "Franciscan Well" pint of IPA ale were perfect and fantastic to say the least.Finally to round up this review, thanks to all the staff who were very friendly, welcoming, cheerful and made us feel at home despite the restaurant being very busy.However, one who rose above and beyond his duty and kept us smiling always throughout our evening here was:Leshaun/Leshawn...(soz bro if I got spelling wrong..? 🤭)A huge Shout out and a Big massive thank you so much to you from us all..Your warmly welcome, your friendly cheerful service, your warmth and happy demeanor was amazing and you are a huge Star and Legend. 🌟Thanks for my goodbye big "man-hug" 🤗 too...Made my evening just perfect!! 👍
