Atrocious behaviour from one of the staff members, in particular the bar manager. Rude, transphobic, won’t ever be visiting.

My daughter returned from this dump a few nights ago, having been in a fight with two girls. She was left outside on her own with no shoes. She said one bouncer was ok, the other was rude. All I can say is I’m glad she didn’t call me to come up,there!

Yesterday my brothers went to have a drink in the pub. One of them lives in Sutton, another is from Croatia. They had one drink, ordered another and then security guy (the same one who saw their ID at the entrance) come to them with one guy with excuse that they did stare at that guy. Security guys took them out "to talk"and in the moment when they have been outside, security guys tried to fight them. My brothers just started to walk home. Security guys continued to follow them for a while and shouted at them.I did text to the pub on Facebook page saying that it's really not nice to have an employees who want to fight tourist who just want to have a drink in the Royal Town. They saw messages but nobody answered. So maybe it's a politic of club to not have any strangers inside!!

Not worth going now that they don't serve food anymore. It's just a glorified bar, not even a proper pub.

Last time I went in here I got thrown out for complaining about gravy being added to my son's meal after specifically requesting to not have any gravy. The waitress slammed the plate into the table and got in a huff and stormed off. Worst service of any pub I've ever visited.

Came in for food recently with a couple of friends, and a night out turned into a night out out!Food was good as usual, but once the dj started it really set the mood for us and we just had to stay out.Would definitely recommend for a night out and will be going again for a proper night, not an unplanned night out with work the following morning!

I was looking forward to a decent beer when I saw all the ale pumps, but they were all off,so we had Stella.... Not good at all,it tasted tangy,or dusty maybe? We both left it after a few sips! I can understand the empty pumps as it was between Christmas and New year's Eve, but get the basics right please!

Food is always great and new menu is great value for money. Just wish they could get the beer tasting good as it is consistently smelly and off tasting like the lines are never cleaned. Good place order bottled beer or soft drinks and you will love it

Not a bad venue. Have done many nights out here over the years as well as quiet afternoon meals/drinks. Food is cheap and cheerful - can’t argue with it - staff are friendly, nice atmosphere and the DJ plays a cracking Friday and Saturday night with tune after tune. What more could you ask for? One of the best places left for a night out in Sutton.
