Nashta in Birmingham

"The Moroccan Restaurant Al-Assala is located within the Center of the great city of Bermingham, an easily reachable place that gives you the opportunity to taste Arabic cuisine in a Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Al-Assala offers a rich and varied menu, with typical dishes of Middle Eastern cuisine and in addition there is also a children’s menu where to choose dishes that meet the taste of the little ones. It also offers the option of ordering what you prefer and then taking it home."

Good service, family friendly environment. Food is good and the service. All place is decorated with famous Pakistani "Truck Art".

Decor and set up is absolutely beautiful and colourful. We were lucky enough to get the private booth with a curtain and carpet seating, which was also very comfortable and well decorated. Food was tasty and served quickly by helpful staff. Staff were welcoming and friendly. I do recommend if you’re nearby or passing through :)

Very friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food too. Me & my brother went for the first time after dropping our parents to the airport. We're not from B'ham, we're from further north but would certainly go again. The Poori Channai with halwa were divine. The doodh lassi hit the spot, and the desi omlette was lovely too. We also tried a paratha which was so nice and crunchy. I couldn't fault anything, and that's a massive compliment from your above average food critic :DEven the facilities were super clean, and family friendly. There are booths separated by sheets for privacy and due to Covid, but it's great for privacy. The toilets were also clean, and I give a massive thumbs up for the lota.We had such a nice experience all in all that we took take out for the family after our trip back to Sheffield.Highly recommended desi nashta place, you won't be disappointed.

We tried here while coming back to London . Decor is nice but food is not very good . Parsthas are too thick overhaul average. Tea was also average.

Loved this place. They have a wondeeful interior, variet of food, sweets, breakfast. This is a must visit place if you are looking for authentic pakistani flavours in the UK.

If you're looking for a quick bite with a decent sitting area and nicely set Pakistani dhaba styled ambience, then it's a very good option. There's public parking right opposite which is very convenient. Service is very friendly too. However, food quality is average for the stuff we tried. Not sure if any item is freshly cooked, it's mostly reheated. Even the tea felt old and had a bit of a foul smell.

Had a craving for falooda so visited this evening just before closing. The falooda was very good compared to others that I have tried. Cannot comment on any other item on the menu.Venue was screaming Pakistan from every angle. They even had the national anthem on the wall in case you felt the need to sing out aloud and show your patriotism.

Nice renovation great touch of Pakistani culture and most new added FALOODA. After a long time find authentic taste of falooda definitely coming again! Bright n colourful interior, taste of Pakistan true to its name. Tasty food

Food is not good. Interior is nice but pakoras and samosa's were old. Brought the chutney home that went bad the next day. NOT RECOMMENDED.
