Pretty good. Very good variety of dishes. The quality and value for money is good too, although be aware it's cash only. The atmosphere inside is nice. We didn't try a lot of the drinks from the menu, but we were happy with Tiger beer.

Great place for Malaysian food. My son had the fried Hokkien noodles and he was very impressed. Said it tasted like the ones in Malaysia. There was a queue on Saturday evening so be prepared to wait for a table.

Visited on cny22 with the wife. Excellent friendly service from both the young gent and girl at lunch time.We had Congee, triple roast and fried vermicelli which was plenty for the two of us.The tables were small, so we appreciated how they cleared the empty plates regularly but asking first without being intruding - a perfect balance! There was a short wait for the food - they were clearly busy.. but quality didn't suffer (unlike what usually happens at some restaurants.)An excellent visit and we'll definitely return in the future.

I've had takeaway from Malaysian delight a number of times, but until recently I'd never eaten in. Also until recently I'd only ever tried Nyonya Fried Rice, absolutely fantastic mix of satisfyingly big bits of chicken, juicy king prawn, Mango and other bits and bobs which keeps me going back. This time my partner decided to order Char siu and roast duck with rice, this dish was awful, such a disappointing contrast to my usual dish. To its credit, the rice was tasty, but that's the only positive thing that can be said about it, well, that and I think it actually looked deceptively tasty; the pork was all 100% pure fat, and sweeter than candyfloss, and the duck was just a disappointment. The staff are friendly and attentive and the service is as fast as you'd want it to be.I've awarded 4 stars because one bad dish on one occasion doesn't make a bad restaurant, the decor is nice and the staff and the service are good, I'd just recommend others not order that particular dish. Likewise next time we too will choose something else, and we will be returning, because I can't stress enough how tasty the Nyonya Fried Rice is

This was the best Asian food that we ate in the Chinese Quarter during the entire week and as would be expected, the restaurants are amazing here.I have eaten at some rather amazing places, over the years, but this place really had a level of quality and consistency that I have never seen before. My family and I were famished by the time we arrived and we ordered half a dozen things. Each and every item was so delicious that we cleaned our plates. Wow! The food was ridiculously good.Highly recommended!!!!!

Been here twice, love the food. A little pricey, I gasped at the price of a £3.50 teh tarik but it was so good Very authentic Malaysian food. Tried the roast pork, KL hokkien noodles and nasi goreng before, hokkien mee was just like what would be served in Malaysia.

By far one of the best Malaysian Food ever. Don’t miss it guys. Service and quality of food is good. Nearby car parks and mins of walking.

The BEST place for cha siu fan in Birmingham. Haven’t tried much else on their menu but their roast meat dishes are phenomenal and the staff are super nice. The restaurant I visit the most.

My OH would always stop by Birmingham to have his comfort food whenever he's nearby. He would say that this place does the most closest to authentic Malaysian cuisine in England. He has tried their Assam Laksa (亞三叻沙), Nyonya Fried Rice (娘惹炒飯), Char Kway Teow (炒粿條), Hokkien Mee (福建麵) and many more, and loved it.This time, we ordered Fish Head with Vermicelli in Soup (魚頭湯米粉) and Mee Goreng (馬來炒麵); both at £9.90. The portion is quite big for one person so it's better to share. The price is definitely reasonable for the portion size, quality of the dish and authenticity of Malaysian cuisine.Thank you Malaysian Delight for always bringing back nostalgic memories to my OH.
