Lime Pickle is amazing. My go to Indian takeaway for mains or just a snack best tikka rolls in town. Staff always so friendly and thanks for the extras always appreciated. See you next time.

Staff go above and beyond here. They really value their customers and the quality and portion size of food is second to none. Highly recommended. If you haven't already tried this place, you need to.

Always incredible taste, Speed of delivery and Service.Personal favourite Mr Alan's Massala, its very sweet with huge chunks of meat. It's our go to for indian takeaway and won't go anywhere else. Even when we had a slight issue it was quickly resolved. Saturday nights are made right with Lime Pickle.

Had a curry from here on the 3rd of April 20 had a food a couple of time no problem but had a chicken and mushroom balti that wasn’t the best it was just like chicken with tomatoes and onions mixed together it won’t put me off but definitely wasn’t a balti curry.

I ordered from Lime Pickle on Saturday night for myself, my partner and my son and we were so impressed! Our meals were delicious and they even threw in extra Chicken, Saag & mango chutney. A great meal and we will definitely be ordering from here again!!

Well, what can I say! Lime pickle is my go to take-away, the food is delicious and service always great. Today, they have gone above and beyond. Thinking I'd ordered a delivery and checked out, my confirmation stated collection. Currently isolating having covid, I rang and explained that I couldn't collect and could they somehow invoice me the delivery charge. Not a problem, they delivered without the charge. Food was amazing as usual, with some extras. Thank you😊.

First time ordering from here as my usual place couldn’t deliver. And honestly astounded at how great the service and food was! I requested lamb achari which wasn’t on the menu but was told they would make it no problem then received a free starter, fast delivery AND a complimentary box of chocolates. A star. Lovely staff and great food! Highly recommended. I will be ordering again

They always send extras as well, I've been working my way through the menu and tonight I had a jalfrezi and it was the most amazing curry I've had in a long time ...100% recommended 👌

Resounding Big Dissatisfaction! If this is Britain's voted best takeaway then either the reviewers and judges are incredulously bereft of their senses or something unpalatable is afoot. (Or apocket). My interest was piqued by Google news that a restaurant in Birmingham was voted as best takeaway, I had to break my self-imposed 2yr ban on ordering Asian takeaways, and my curiosity had to be tested, so I decided to order a sample meal.Ordered, Chicken Biryani, chef's special lamb bhunna, spinach and potato (sag-aloo), tarka dhal (lentils), 2 naan breads and 2 chapattis. The order taker on the phone offered a complimentary mixed grill starter, which I accepted.Delivery time given was 1 hour.On tasting all dishes with 5 other food tasters the verdict was this.1.Chicken Biryani: Score 3/10: All agreed was generic, bland, and showed no signs of authenticity. There was no aroma or fragrance that is associated with a traditional authentic Biryani. Where was the elusive hallmark of saffron, mint, ghee, and crispy onions? This was not a Biryani in any form or shape.2. Chef's Special lamb dish: 3/10: all agreed sauce was generic onion and tomato mass produced, pre-made tub under the counter. Bland.3. Sag-Aloo: 4/10. Over cooked spinach, watery, spiceless and under seasoned. And what traditional chef puts chunks of half cooked tomatoes into a sag dish?4. Tarka Dhal: 2/10. Watery, and tasteless. No hint of spice, seasoning, no drizzle(tarka) of toasted garlic and onion in butter. Like eating warm watered down porridge.5. Naan breads: 5/10. Mediocre.Naan weighed twice the weight a naan of that size should weigh. Thick and doughy. Certainly not aerated and fluffy with crispy edges. Disappointing.6. Chapattis: 7/10. Not bad. But, once again a bit on the heavy side of what a real Chapatti should be.7. The free complimentary starter....mixed grill or something. Score 3/10. Couldn't make sense of it. What was it supposed to be? Was it supposed to be a traditional dhabar style refreshing starter with a Poori? Bits of stringy chicken, I presume, a bit of julienned peppers and other bits, with a bit of pickle?Strange. But, whatever it was, again no seasoning, and bland.Overall very disappointed. All the tasters on my team gave independent scores.Biggest beef - that wretched pre-made onion and tomato base sauce from a bucket under the counter. That synonymous smell that permeates through all the dishes sickens me.Have chef's forgot how to cook tradition real curries.Final big beef: 16 plastic tubs with bits of pickle, and sauces. That's 16!!!!!! For one order. Certainly, not environmentally friendly. That's excluding the plastic food tubs.Overall - big let down, will not be ordering this spiceless, generic sauced food again. Amazes me how this could have been voted at all. Were the judges drunk before they tasted???Sorry guys, you need to reinvent your dishes and cook real traditional food. Finally, will definitely not be ordering takeaways again unless someone can really cook traditional.* The free galaxy chocolate bar was perfectly cooked thanks.
