Punjab Village Karahi in Birmingham

I've been here twice recently. Excellent food at good prices. Parking available. I'll be coming back.

One of the best restaurants I have visited in a long time. Came from Kilmarnock Scotland to visit my cousin and he took my family for dinner here the food was delicious and the staff were amazing specially the chef’s wife

Been here a few times now. Overall, food is pretty good - real desi flavours. Chicken shish kebabs are amazing and as good as they can get (especially for £1.10 a kebab) and so is the biryani. Prawn Karahi is really nice. Lamb karahi tasted great but unfortunately had quite a few bones - hence the 4 star review. Service is ok. There is also a desserts bar in the restaurant.

Sheesh kebabs were the best I've had in a long time but the currys are below average

Ordered two dishes, both were swimming in butter and tasted bland, chapatis were dry, expected much better quality at their prices.

Came to Karahi King village with family and friends on 27th October 21 nice surroundings, food very nice especially sheesh kebab there was 10 of us in total the young lady waitress looked after us very well will return loved i would give 5 stars but didn't try desserts to full

Food was absolutely great, service was really quick and staff were both welcoming and asked if anything else was needed. Great for the whole family, parking on site and the inside decor was beautiful. Great place will definitely visit again

3 things wrong:1. Our order arrived close to 2 hours late, without the company informing us. We ordered several hours in advance.2. We ordered mild and it was definitely too spicy for mild.3. There were missing things from the order!

Ordered butter chicken to eat in which was as far from any butter chicken I've ever had, karahi King menu shown to us had mojitos as £2 yet the bill showed £3.99, when we questioned it we were then shown the 'desserts' menu with the higher price which to me is false advertising, as the initial menu has different pricing to top it off ordered seek in naan for takeout and we were given 2 portions of fries instead, on a brighter note the 2 ladies serving were as helpful as they could be.

Service needs a lot of work... Was waiting for food and when it arrived it was warm not hot then got cold having to await for our chapati to arrive...
