Me and the wife both thoroughly enjoyed our food at Sabai Sabai. The staff were 1st class and could not do enough for us. We knew what we were going to have before we arrived so when we sat down we were given menus and after around 2 minutes the waitresses came to take our drinks order and also took our food order with us being ready to place it. The food arrived quickly and it was to die for.

The manager fitted me in very last minute when I called and asked for a table which was great. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I have an allergy to soy, the main ingredient in Thai food - very awkward for the chefs. However, they were so helpful and made me a soy free pad thai and it was absolutely amazing. I really appreciated the extra effort made by the staff and will be back soon!

Sabai is definitely one of the more up-market Thai places I've been to, and the menu prices reflect that. The food is for sure top quality but I'd recommend going between 12-2pm for their lunch specials which work out much cheaper in the long run.Sabai was an experience. The mixed aromas coming from your plate, the mixed flavours of sweet, spicy, salty and coconut were balanced very well. The portions are generous (If ordering the lunch deal) and a range of teas are available along with alcoholic drinks.Definitely recommend meeting a friend here or taking out a family member but for large groups it would definitely be pricey. I would rate 4.5 if I could.

Staff weren’t great. They were inconsiderate when we specifically stated to remove all chillies and spices, they added chilli oil. Upon confronting them, they spoke to each other in Thai to just scoop out the chilli oil and serve it back to us. The coconut rice was amazing but the tom kha gai was too pungent and sour.

Went at lunchtime and had a dish off the set menu - absolutely delicious. 3rd time I've been here and food consistently good. It was quiet when I went in (12 ish) but packed when I left so worth booking

Hey I see these guys get lots of 5-star reviews so good for them! For us though it was just...average. It is a cool, attractive space and all but one of the workers there were very nice. The food just didn't wow us. We had three dishes, starting with the kanom jeeb dumpligs which were the best dish we had. Then tom kha soup with chicken which was pretty thin and lacked depth of flavour although the chicken was super moist; and the pad gra prao stir fry which was sooo spicy we had a hard time eating it. Maybe it was just an off day!

Where do I start, it was a wet and windy night. Lol.It was great! My daughters and I went here just randomly as we decided we wanted to go out for something to eat. My daughter called to see if they had any reservations and they said yes, we book and turned up.The service was great, the drinks very nice. The gin selection was really good. My daughters had a recommended cocktail. The food came out hot and very very nice. It is a little pricey but it's Birmingham City centre, you wouldn't expect anything less. It was worth the money. We would be very happy to go again.
