Good selection of food staff are nice food is decent and they have a chocolate fountain it could do with someone monitoring it as people put their hands in it , plenty of car parking space available

We visited Shahi Masala on Mother's Day with around 25 family members. We booked a table in advance. The manager was very patient with us as we all arrived at slightly different times and in a staggered kind of way. We are Asians after all!Once in, we enjoyed the food. Plenty of variety and the pakoreh and chicken dishes in particular were absolutely outstanding. There were plenty of desserts too including a chocolate fountain although I couldn't believe they didn't have rasmalai. That's a crime in an Asian Restaurant, no...??Bottomless drinks too with lots of variety again... from colas to lemonades to fruity soft drinks and even delicious Mango Lassi. In order to improve, there should be two or three cutlery stations and plenty more napkins available on or near tables. Also, the self-service ice cream machine was a mess. A member of staff should be manning that machine at all times because it wasn't easy to use at all.Lastly, you can't have a chocolate fountain without strawberries. Marshmallows alone aren't enough.Apart from that, it was a lovely evening and the staff were very friendly and polite.Thank you for your wonderful food - everyone at Shahi Masala!

Absolutely loved it. One of the best ever buffet outlets I've been to.Stand out point is a customer service. Everyone is so attentive, plates are being taken away quickly, in general customer service is of a level you would expect from a top restaurant not an buffet. All dishes are indeed very good and definitely prepared/cooked from a fresh ingredients. Drinks are inclusive and on top of that this is not just 3, 4 to choose from but instead it is quite a selection of fizzy and still ones to satisfy everyone's taste.I do recommend live pot noodle station. It doesn't take that long to prepare whatever you choose for your pot and the choice of ingredients and sauces is really good. There's always big queue for live chops station. Although this are alright I would suggest not to waste your time if the queue is more than 15 minutes.Car park is quite big but having said that was absolutely full on Saturday evening when we went and you might end up waiting for someone to leave in order to park your car.

We were amazed with service and choice of food at Shahi Masala, it was very busy on Saturday evening but this was expected. The staff made every effort to ensure we had a great evening as we seated within a few minutes after arrival. The choice and quality of food was superb. Every dish that we chose was well cooked and tasted great and I highly recommend this restaurant and the benefit of buffet styled cuisine.

Really enjoyed our time with family, very goof selection of food for all ages and taste buds.. Some food is freshly cooked.. Only few dishes were bit cold, but the treats for kids was amazing and drinks are included in the price, which is a bonus.. Very clean, staff friendly.. Would definitely recommend and visit again..

Let me start by saying, if your looking for Indian spicy food, then you should avoid this place.Went to this buffet with friends. Heard so much good about this place, from my Asian family too. Thought give it a try. Weekday price £19.95 a head. Pricey, but if foods nice, it's not a problem. The place is well decorated, so those who want selfies, this is a place for you.First impression, very nicely set out. Tried there starters, not impressed. No salt or spiciness. Tried there main dishes, all had the same problem. All lacked salt and forget to even think any spicy in the food. My friends were unhappy they spent £20 yet still hungry as food was not nice. There was cones for ice cream, had bite marks on them, the chocolate fountain was not sweet, and the marshmallows were dry. The main dishes were half empty (as it was a weekday).Service was not great, as the chefs were not eager to help you.I can say only the drinks were nice.If your looking for a spicy meal, then I would definitely avoid this place. Thanks for taking your time out to check my review.

Stopped by there on the other night to taste their buffet. Building decorated well and spacious place for many tables. Highly recommended visit on the week days as Friday and Saturday getting busy. Buffet menu mainly based on Indian and Pakistani cusine and also pizza and pasta section available. Various dishes of lamb and chicken available. Based on My experience Lamb Korma is nice. However lamb chops were not good they have chicken shawarma as well. Their desert section wasn't enough to have sweet treatment at the end of meal. Machine İce-cream isn't much preferable. Also another disappointed point they charge extra for hot drinks if you want have.

I had a great experience with them. Great Food great Customer Service well Mannered Staff Goof sitting arrangement plus very family friendly Environment. I had tasted all most all the food they offered. All of them ate very good feel like just cooked. Good range of starters & Main courses. My recommendation is if you want to visit there do taste their lamb Handi, Haleem, Nihari & Lamb Pulao in main dishes. In starter masala wings, Onion Pakora, sheesh Kabab & chicken Roast. In dessert Ghulab Jamun, Chocolate Cake, gajar ka halwa, milk vermicelli & fresh Fruits like pineapple and melon. In drinks they offer a variety of drinks but i like their Mango Lassi & Masala Tea. I wish you will have a Great experience like Me....

Visited this Asian style Buffet in Birmingham on weekday. The spread was good and servers behavior was polite.Food quality was okay ,I won't say very good.I was expecting better when the price per head is 17.95 £(Unlimited Soft Drinks included). Some of the kabab items tastes dry and in desserts the items were very few.All traditional sub continental dishes like Nihari,Paya,Haleem was there but taste was not up to the mark.4-5 lamb curry and same no of chicken curry dishes was there and almost all looks and taste same.Nothing stands out in particular. In live counters, you can have Swarma, pasta, noodles,Lamb chops.Salad collection was adequate.Ice counter was there. The sitting arrangements was good and servers were cleaning the tables and takings the used plates from tables at regular intervals. No complains there. You can stay for 90 mins at you table once you are in which is sufficient enough time I believe:). Overall an okeish kind of experience.Probably won't revisit.

I have to say that this place is one of the best buffet I have ever been to. Staff were really welcoming and the manager greeted us with courtesy. Nice selection of food from around the world. We felt at ease and the staff sang happy birthday for my partner too. Really lovely and the fountain in the centre of the room is ace, adds a nice touch. would definitely go again very soon.
