Sheldon Hall in Birmingham

Recently revisited this place for a carvery and I have to say the standards have gone way up since a few years ago.Nothing was dry and everything tasted much fresher and cleaner than before.Our server Stacey was very polite and she was respectful with us. Hats off to all the staff for bringing up the standards.

Had dinner here with friends and can only say nice things about this place. The food has definitely improved and the staff are very polite I was served by Jackie on the bar who was lovely and Alex and Olivia served us our food which was delicious my favourite was my pudding. The atmosphere was great we all had a relaxing meal and truly had a great night thanks ladies for your service .

Amazing quality breakfast! Supper friendly staff and very child safe environment! Easy breakfast choices and a lot to choose from! Was served by Jacki! The service was outstanding and will definitely be coming again!

Popped in here for breakfast today (Sunday).We were greeted by a lovey waitress StaceyAnd shown to a table. We asked for decaf lattes or decaf tea. I sure what they had Stacey went to check and soon returned to advise only decaf instant was available. However Stacey made 2 very acceptable lattes. If fact they were that good we had 2 more 😀Our breakfast order was taken, including Mushroom’s which come as any side order and have to cooked to order. We had a child with us that loves a sausage sandwich, not on the menu but again Stacey arranged for his favourite sarnie to be made.A few minutes later we were advised that it was ready for us at the carvery station. Off we went to fill our plates with freshly cooked sausages, bacon, hash browns and tomatoes. There was also fried bread, beans, breakfast pizza and crispy pork scratchings.Stacey offers to help carry out food to our table. She really is a gem, so friendly, polite, helpful and attentive. We ate our breakfast and could not find fault with anything. Delicious 😋All in all we’d go back tomorrow if we lived near enough but we’ll definitely call in again when we are in the area.

we came for a family dinner for the first time, not local to Birmingham and we found the service to be amazing from booking the table to finishing the meal. all the staff were so friendly and helpful, a special mention to Jacqui (sorry for the spelling if wrong) Alex and Stacey, for specially looking after us & for making the experience really enjoyable, got real family vibes. food was also delicious, portion sizes for the kids were great & the Carvery was amazing (also mention to the chefs at the Carvery who were also very friendly and funny but we didn't catch their names) will definitely visit again next time we get together :)

Lovely food and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. We was served by Stacey today for breakfast, she is always smiling and helpful. The manager is good for the place 👌

Visited here for my birthday, had a problem with the app order, however, after clarifying with the staff this was rectified. We ordered a spirit on the app it did not come as ordered, however, again before they wasted the drink they came back and asked what mixer we wanted, they were pleasant polite although, they were very busy, will go again.

Went in for lunch today and the ladies on the bar were very polite and very helpful. (Jackie and Sarah) and the chefs who made my wrap in my type of style how I like it was very well at delivering it! Definitely recommend this place. Well delivered customer service!

Started to come here regularly with friends on a Wednesday as well as Sunday with the other half and we can't fault it. The food is always hot and lovely and Sarah and Andrea are so helpful and always wiling to go the extra mile. Thank you all.

Very welcoming atmosphere with very friendly and polite staff especially Kris and Emma who served us.Food was really nice the carvery was spot on and my kids loved their dinners to they said it’s better than daddys cooking!I’ll definitely be returning.
