I don't think you can call this Birmingham's hidden gem anymore. Shiraz has easily achieved legendary status. Prices have gone up over the last few years but the the quality of the food is incredible. The service is always homely and attentive and its the best Koobideh I've tasted. If you haven't already you must try the food from this lovely family run business.

A welcoming and beloved family restaurant that serves wholesome food using quality ingredients - Shiraz Restaurant stays true to Persian roots. Also a great place to open your fast during Ramadan.

Incredibly busy but justifiably so with the best food we've eaten since moving to the Midlands.Absolutely gorgeous mixed grill, rice was perfect, desserts were beautiful and drinks were all quality. We had a bit of a wait on arrival with it being Ramadan, its a small place and there wasn't an empty seat at all. My suggestion is book a table but still arrive early.Only slight negatives, salad was very very small for the price, the tables are tiny and the plates are massive but again for the size of all the other portions of food this is totally forgivable (I just personally love a good salad with my meals). This whole place just needs to move into a bigger property so they can fit more customers in! We've literally found a gem in Birmingham!!!The staff were genuinely lovely, excellent service and incredibly attentive. Was such a lovely meal and they were all so friendly that we will definitely be returning.Well done to the owners, chefs and service staff! It was all brilliant 👏 👌 👍

We always enjoy the food here at Shiraz and we have been going there for the last 16 years, authentic Persian cuisine, our favourite dishes are in the photos. We will be back soon.

Family run Persian Restaurant with amazing authentic food. Very friendly service and family friendly environment. Quality food cooked to perfection, that will tantalize your taste buds. You'll definitely come back for more. But do book ahead, the word is out about this place so it has gotten busier each time I go there.

- Nice ambiance- welcoming- I liked their Deco- customer service is good- Tried their grill platter which didn’t disappoint us- boil rice with butter was very nicely done- the only down side is, they don’t have good sauces .. come on nice food should go with some nice saucy flavours

The place is nice inside and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very dry , we had to ask for some sauces twice as the first time the amount of it was too tiny. Trey brought us a dessert at the end which was nice.

Visited Shiraz on a recommendation, and we were so glad that we did. The restaurant is quite small but has a nice atmosphere. Parking is a little out of the way if you don't get something right outside, but there are enough spots on the side roads. The food was distinctively Persian and just the right amount to leave you feeling satisfied. This is our gauge for a restaurant's quality, if the food is tasty and you leave with your appetite satiated without a feeling of uncomfortableness, then they've done a good job in catering for you.The lamb shank and grill platters were on point, always washed down with Doogh (salted yoghurt) and we would definitely recommend the baclava, falooda and the cream pastries. Tea was a fantastic finish, with complementary Iranian rice pudding. The staff were very friendly, helping us out with any questions and ensuring we fine throughout the meal. We were surprised at the bill at the end of the evening as we thought it would be much more for the level of food we received. This could very well be a return visit if we are in the area again.

Very delicious Iranian food, I like the portion size which is enough for 1.5 persons, the staff were nice and friendly with customers.Regarding the prices I believe it is fair compared with the quality ( card and cash are accepted). The parking here is an issue, not easy to find.I do recommend the restaurant
