Simple Chinese in Birmingham

Sunday we ordered shredded chilli chicken it was horrendous, it was microwaved to a crisp, we couldnt eat it! Put us of ordering from them again and we used to loved their food!

I love this Chinese Take Away. It is run by a lovely family who are always polite and helpful. It is clean and always smells so good. If I could buy the scent of their food as a candle, my house would be lit up with many tiny, dancing flames.The portions are large and you have the option to order any dish on the menu as an even larger portion for a very small price increase. The hot and sour soup is a particularly delight, with a deep flavour you don't get anywhere else.The only gripe I could possibly have is that they only use thin noodles for their chow mein. My daughter loves the thin noodles but I prefer medium or udon. If they offered a choice of noodle size this place would be perfect. But that is a small complaint and only based on my own preference.Seriously, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Food is terrible, tried beef chicken and pork curries and meat is always raw. Have never had a meal where the meat wasn't foul. Will only ever get rice or curry sauce from here now and that's only if wing sing on Lichfield Rd is closed. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Always very satisfied with our food, have used simple for many years. Good sized portions with very tasty dishes. Keep up the good work Simple 👍

Been getting food here for years and never had one problem. Food is spot on.

Orderd chicken curry it came very quick and was not cooked phoned them and explained. Only too be told I was lying. I had to take the food back myself to get a refund. Would avoid like the plague

My food was cold when delivered and the sweet and sour chicken Cantonese tasted like vinegar. The chicken didn't taste like chicken,nasty. They say you get what you pay for,not so in this case,really pricey and nasty food. 😨

These delivery drivers should do there job properly and deliver the food too my door instead of discriminating me due too livening in a flat they expect me too leave my small children in order to go down and collect my food is that not there job iv never had this problem with any other take out and even though they point out it’s all to do with incerance that to me sounds silly and over the top the same thing can happen to you delivering to a house.Other then that the foods really good and tastes amazing kind of a shame that you don’t get free prawn crackers like other Chinese places do

This is my go food here is like what you’d expect from a restaurant the veg isn’t over cooked and still has bite, the noodles also are excellent. Strongly recommend and they will go the extra mile if you need any allergies or requirements meet.

I really dont know what ive just tried to eat but that wasnt no beef curry. It was so tough and full off fat. I will never eat out of here again and advise other ppl not to either....and as for the woman on the phone she should seriously learn some peoples skills and the ones in the kitchen should learn how to cook. Vile...disgusting. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
