This place serves some really tasty Japanese and Thai food. They offer some fairly unique sushi/maki rolls as well. The dining room is small but cozy. Makes for a good date night.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, great cocktails & delicious food!I came here for a lunch with a friend & we had a great time. The waitresses were very lovely, we were greeted as soon as we entered & shown to our table. We got to sit at the chef's table which was really enjoyable.Daniella was very helpful she informed me of the specials for the day & answered all the questions I had when I was deciding what to order. The sushi chef was friendly & helpful too he too made recommendations for us. My friend explained that she's not a huge fan of seaweed so he recommended the nigiri for her.Being sat at the chef's table was a really lovely experience, it was nice being able to see the food being made & interact with the chef. All of our food was plated beautifully & tasted delicious... the edamame beans were a nice nibble to start us off, the dumplings were really good (we had the chicken ones & the vegetable ones), the caterpillar roll was amazing it's definitely my new obsession & then we had the chocolate fondant to finish the lunch.I can't fault anything at all it was all greatWe will definitely be returning

Had dinner for the first time here today, have to say the food was ok however I can’t justify the price I paid, overly priced for the portions. Left the restaurant feeling hungry still. The one lady at the beginning who served us first was smiley and pleasant as was the other staff, however when we was served with our mains the waitress didn’t know whether it was chicken or fish. At the at the end we didn’t get asked if we would like desserts, coffee or tea just would have been nice to have been asked. Very clean place, decor and atmosphere was nice but don’t think I will be visiting again.

Amazing decor, very nice and cosy. Floor staff is really friendly and looked after me and my friends really well. I had vegeterian ramen and pumpkin cheescake for a dessert and I was in heaven. Food is really tasty, full of flavour and I will definitely come back to try sushi and bao buns. Thank to Daniela and Andrea for provided great service

I wanted to book a table earlier today and was very surprised I was given one, knowing It's the weekend. The restaurant was very peaceful and not that crowded. My partner and I ordered a chef's pick of nigiri and a Salmon Teriyaki. Everything was great. I fully recommend this place. Thank you Daniela for serving us and the rest of staff for such a lovely evening!

A lovely little sushi spot! We came to sushido as a family of 4 (myself, my husband and 2 young children) after a day out at Drayton Manor and we had such a lovely time, our server (Daniela) was just lovely and went above and beyond to make us and our two young children happy and comfortable. The food was fantastic, just a shame we couldn’t finish it after all our snacks at the theme park but Daniela helpfully packed it away for us to bring home. We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you Daniela!

Impressed by the cleanliness and decor. Lots to choose from on the menu. I've had to mark the score down on the food quality alone. It was all incredibly bland, no real heat to the curry and the only taste to the ramen was in the form of soy sauce, which ended up being overwhelming. I did raise this with the waiting staff but the only way any issue was resolved was by using soy sauce in the curry, to try and make it palatable. Usually, i wouldnt think twice about it but the dish prices that this restaurant is asking for is in the high quality space of the industry and that's exactly the food we wanted. Massively disappointed as I had high expectations. May give it a go some other day, might have just been "one of those days" today.

Very good food, both sushi and the cooked food. We ordered spicy tuna maki roll, sea food pad Thai and prawns as a starter. We enjoyed them all. Great value for money. The lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating. To drink we had green tea and barley tea.I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

I was initially quite surprised by the size of the restaurant, it was smaller than I imagined but I guess this facilitates the longer preparation time needed to make the food. This might make it harder to turn up with a reservation during busy times but we went at 8pm on a Friday and were one of the first people there. The restaurant had a very modern appearance with sleek lines and a well designed menu although the place perhaps lacks coziness because of this, my partner found the lighting to be a bit too bright. We ordered the duck spring rolls and pork belly starter both of which were very nice and well presented, although it did take a while for the food to arrive even though I think we were the only people being cooked for. ( It could possibly be they the place was also prepaing takeaway orders at the same time, although I don't know if they do that). I guess if you're looking for fast food you should look elsewhere as this place seems to focus more on fresh prep and presentation.I also had the vegetarian Pad Thai which was very tasty also and well priced at just under ÂŁ10. I found the service to be polite and attentive.I was interested by the desserts but didn't get a chance to try them. Maybe next time. Overall a very nice, well presented meal at good prices.

The food was excellent - probably the best Japanese food I've had in Europe for some time.Food that's easy on the eye tastes far better and the chefs seem to be sufficiently enthusiastic about both!Well made & presented food, comfy decor and located within walking distance of Sutton town centre.
