Went in to order, didn't have to wait long, great meal, enjoyed by all

Always excellent quality food.

What used to be our favourite Chinese take away house has now become a place where we will never be customers again. After an extremely late delivery and several phone calls to enquire where the order was the man who took the order over the phone became rude, aggressive and threatened to cancel the order because he kept fobbing us off with false delivery times, blaming the driver for taking so long when in actual fact the order wasn’t even ready for delivery. Terrible customer service, poor handling, taking no ownership of errors on his part and his rude aggressive attitude means this place does not know how to keep its (long term once loyal) customers.

We've been using Szechuan House for years and years and honestly in our opinion nothing compares from any other takeaway.

I absolutely love this takeaway, have grown up with my parents ordering from here for many many years and now I order from here for my family. Always polite, great service and fantastic food!! 😍

Always loved this place, one of my favourite Chinese takeaway. The kitchen is kept clean and busy. The person who takes the orders is quite helpful. No fuss simple Chinese cooking. Ordered chicken wings black pepper and salt, spicy king prawn chow mein, schezwan vegetables, stir fried vegetable rice, chicken chow mein. They also gave a bag of free prawn crackers because the order was more than 20 pounds. The chef added chopped green chillies as i requested a spicy chow mien. All freshly prepared, took about 15 minutes for my order.

Absolutely love this place, food is amazing, never missed anything in my orders & it's exceptionally fast even when they are busy. The place is spotless & I like that you can see into the kitchen. Staff are friendly & efficient. Been using this place for years & I'm sure many more! 👍

Normally order from here and don't really have any many issues. However the food I ordered today was TASTELESS! It was a regular order Singapore noodles and chicken chow mein. We I called to enquire why it was so tasteless I was very KINDLY (not) informed that that is how they make it. TASTELESS

Today they told us their vegetarian options are made using chicken stock... specifically the satay sauce in the listed vegetarian options Tofu With Satay Sauce and Vegetables In Satay Sauce.Then they blocked our phone number.Oh, and their food hygiene rating is a 1.Reported to trading standards.AVOID THIS PLACE like the plague it will probably give you.
