Great food, very reasonable prices, and a lovely warm welcome from Abdul with great customer service. They have an excellent selection of curries and it cost us £50 for starters, poppadoms, curries and drinks. Great value for Birmingham city centre.

Coming to Birmingham, we had to have some Bombay aloo, chicken Balti and Lamb Biryani as they were dishes invented here. And we were not disappointed. Without doubt, the best I have ever hadĺ

we had a lovely meal very late Friday eve . we had been to a concert and walked in and got served sraight away. my husband like done of their beer glasses the manager offered him the glass. He was very happy .

This place does beautifully cooked curry, we didn't have to wait long either, dining for two is comfortable and quite quiet. I would definitely recommend

This is an absolute gem of a curry house 💕 Head of house was really attentive and made our evening very enjoyable. As it was our wedding anniversary we decided to treat ourselves. I had a traditional chicken balti and husband had a mixed tandoori jalfrazi. Both were delicious. Chicken so tender and sauce was rich and flavour was lovely. Definitely my top curry house to visit 10/10 from us and only 15 minutes walk from the canal. We will definitely be back

Never been let down by the (great) food and service at Taj Mahal. Food quality consistently v. good, toilets clean and modern. Staff friendly. The best curry houses are often not on the main drag, on smart streets. Here you get great food, great value in an understated part of the city centre, but close to hotels and New St station. Ticks all the boxes. 👍

A real disappointment. This is a restaurant we have used in the past and had great meals there. The food was A1, really good. The problem was the service, it took an hour to get our starters, with no explanation for the delay and despite obviously finishing it took nearly half an hour to get the table cleared and bill paid. A real shame as this is one of our favourite Indian restaurants.
