Tangs Garden in Birmingham

They used to be very consistent but now they are slipping. The last 3 times something has always been overcooked or re-heated. This time the chips were blatantly old I had to throw them away, they tasted horrible. Please stop re-heating or serving overcooked food. I will try again next time and hopefully it isn't my last.

Tasty food, nice staff and not a rip off at all

I recently ordered a Chinese takeaway from here after exhausting all of my other local takeaways, which have all unfortunately gone downhill. I ordered the young chow fried rice which was delicious and the portion was very generous. I am looking forward to trying more dishes in the future. Last but not least, the owners/employees are really friendly and welcoming.

I had stopped using tangs as could never get through on phone and found another Chinese which I enjoyed . But over the last month I’ve managed to get through so put order in . First time was in December I was dissapointed but just thought one off , but I’ve just half finished another meal half finished for reason , chips looked and tasted like they was from yesterday as did the spare ribs over cooked dry and tough the chicken curry I had was very salty the same as I had in December. Very dissapointed as this was my fave Chinese restaurant but I have to say tangs don’t know what’s gone on but your food is far from your usual standards .

Worst curry we have had on new years eve waited over an hour (expected) but came was cold curry sauce that thick couldn't even pour it out came out one blob 20 pound ended in bin after few mouthfuls

Just ate from here the food is absolutely tasteless, greasy,old prawn cracker you can smell the dirty oil on them. Salt and pepper chicken they must of for got what that looks like more like kids chicken nuggets. The sweet and sour chicken tastes like tomato sauce and vinegar....disgusting. Not a patch on Chung ying!!!!

The food came and the chips were burnt and the prawn crackers you can smell the dirty oil used on them. No flavour at all. On the chow main yuk sung fried rice and also the Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken was just a breast burger sliced and might aswell been in vinegar the lady didn't even apologiseat all apart from.saying the chips were our of a new bag. I did explain that we are half Chinese and no what the food should taste like. Its disgusting food hygiene and also very poor customer service

Love this place. My favourite by far. Food is so tasty here, worth every penny. Stop going to your regular place and try here right now.

This is our local Chinese takeaway and the menu is substantial, the food portions are huge and we have to normally order less than we would but when we get excited and order more than we can eat we have plenty leftover for the next day. Food quality has always been exceptional and never had a complaint in 14 years of visiting Tangs. Some may consider prices a little high but you are paying for more quantity and quality. It does take longer than Tang suggests when you place an order so expect a bit of a wait.

First time here. Was very impressed upon going into the store at the screen for safety and distancing. I ordered food and it took about 20 min. I was very impressed at the presentation and quality of the food compared to alot of other local places. The price is a little more but is well worth it and portion is alot bigger. They have a great selection and a few things I have not seen before so tried them. Wonton are great and big. Curry's are nice and tasty too
