Taste Of Khyber in Birmingham

Charsi Lamb Karahi is to die for.. lamb pieces are amazingly tender and juicy Kabuli pulow is good too but when you have karahi, you can't see or taste anything else..

The cashier employee’s behavior was not acceptable at all. I asked him about more than one dish in the menu, and he answered with a lack of clarity. I told him that it was the first time we visited the restaurant and also ordered meals. When I paid, I discovered that the quantity was greater than required and the restaurant prices are very exaggerated for the quality.

The food portion is very generous and very tasty but buying food for £60+ and not providing any drinks with any of the food not even as a complimentary is really bad. The staff member that served me was friendly but there 2as an issue with pricing and mis-communication where another staff member got involved saying I said something in his language which I understand and they did not know and caught them out. I would of given this 4 star but there is also room for improvement and due to the other staff member getting involved and no drinks with meals. Overall nice food.

Had an excellent dinner at this restaurant. The food was hot and tasty, the chicken was falling off the bone and succulent (How I like it) and the Naan was served in a traditional Peshwari way, stretched over a stretcher. Overall, excellent and authentic Pakistani food, exactly how my grandmother would make it.

This is by far one of the best Chapli kebab and Peshawari Karahi restaurant in the UK. They have maintained their quality and the ambiance is also good. Highly recommended.

Best Resturant in Birmingham. Always love there good. Brilliant food with Best quality. All staff and everything is super perfect 👌.

Well if your interested in North Pakistan cusine. This is a must go restaurant.

Its really really nice food. Great staff. 10/10 for taste. It's really nice place for family to its a Haven for pishawari food lovers. Once you have to trye.

I’ve visited 3 times in the last 6 months or so and have to say that the food is top quality. You would never imagine it from the outside but this place is so vibrant and a great restaurant to sit in and enjoy the lovely food. The Afghani lamb tikka & lamb charsi karahi is a must. If you enjoy Afghani food and your in Birmingham then I would highly recommend this place.

Food was ok travelled so far just to try Chaplin kebab but disappointed not like before. Tried shindi Bryani was also not nice, overall it was ok
