Amazing authentic Chinese food... don't order off the English menu... my faves: lamb skewers, sizzling beef, egg yolk pumpkin, green beans with minced pork (no pickles), mandarin fish (sweet!)... so many great dishes!

Had my dinner hotpot there. Poor service! Even I just ask for a glass of tap water, the waitress (boss?) refused and went back to kitchen. Hotpot is “all you can eat”, however there is just a small corner to place food and never refill, like kitchen waste…I tried to ask them to refill some noodles, they said “that’s all, we will not refill”.So, “all you can eat” is the double meaning here… all you can eat … with this corner.

One of the best hot pot places I've been to since I lived in Taiwan. The Hot Pot is a set price, all you can eat and even has self-service which is unusual for hot pot places. Waiting staff is very friendly and always eager to help. Definitely worth a visit and nice for bigger groups too.

My absolute favourite authentic Chinese restaurant in the UK!A proper hidden gem of Birmingham. The authenticity does mean yes, you might have to put up with Eastern rather than Western service, but the food is worth it, and the star of the show. Go there with that in mind and it's hard to be disappointed.Portions are huge, relatively consistent, great variety of ingredients and whenever if I have the 'same' dishes elsewhere I always end up saying "Not as good as Tasty Restaurant"!Top tips:- Bring cash - yes it's mildy annoying, but there's ATMs at the station opposite and the signs are clear.- Be aware there are 2 menus for English and Chinese diners, like all very good authentic restaurants in UK/US/Aus/Canada. The Chinese menu is more adventurous has photos and absolutely worth trying.- Largely used to catering to East and South East Asians, so don't take the service personally - it's cultural!- Salted egg yolk pumpkin, water-boiled fish/fish boiled in spicy chillies, stuffed aubergines, spicy lamb leg, cold mung bean noodles, fragrant spicy crab, even frogs legs. Not all Sichuan spicy but mostly! I dream about these when not in Birmingham.

Reasonably priced all you can eat Chinese hot pot. Buffet style (even the meat) so no need to request extra, you just go and get it yourself. It's not perfect but very good value!

I had the hotpot buffet and it was really really good. Tasted like hotpot's I've had in China. Definitely recommend and will hopefully be back again!

I eat hot-pot here. Cheap food but I got diarrheas.

I really enjoyed the food, crispy duck pancakes were spot on. The salt and pepper ribs super tasty and also super hot. The portion sizes off the set menus were big. We did feel a little bad at what we left. The guy serving wasn't exactly interactive and it was funny to see a woman at the back putting chopsticks back into new paper packets, and theres me thinking I was getting a fresh pair.

Visited with two native Chinese, where we all had the hot pot. It was the closest and most authentic hot pot we've experienced so far in the UK..and good value. Staff were pleasant - we didn't witness any of the rudeness mentioned on some of the other reviews. Maybe the afternoon staff are less stressed!? :)
